Sandwich Platters (suitable for 4-6 persons) All sandwiches are served on a selection of thickly sliced white and wholemeal bread and are suitable for 4-6 persons. Each platter consists of 24 triangles. Standard Meat Platter

Make it happen
Short notice bookings We will consider late bookings if balance is paid for in full. If such late bookings are cancelled they may incur a penalty charge, depending upon circumstances to be discussed with Fresh Thinking. Confirmation of booking We will confirm your booking on receipt of: n Completed and signed Booking Contract, incorporating full terms and conditions n Deposit payment n Damage deposit where applicable The Booking Contract will indicate your booking details including a clear statement of any other arrangements which have been agreed in writing by both parties to this agreement. Deposit We require a deposit of 20% of the total quoted charged on the Booking Contract. This deposit will be credited against the final invoice or the cancellation charges if the booking is cancelled within the terms of the Cancellation Schedule, detailed below. All our food platters and lids are returnable, please arrange a suitable collection time. Any unreturned platters and lids will be charged for accordingly. Cancellation schedule for delivery’s In the event of a cancellation and if we are unable to re-sell your facilities, cancellation charges as follows will apply:
n No notice of cancellation given by you – 100%
of the total cost of the booking n Cancellation within 24 hours of start date – 100% of the total cost of the booking n Cancellation within 3 working days of start date – 50% of the total cost of the booking n Cancellation within 5 working days of start date – 20% of the total cost of the booking n Cancellation 6 working days or more before the start date – 0% of the total cost of the booking n Cancellations for all bespoke menus a 100% charge will be made if cancelled 7 days or less prior to the event. In order to take advantage of the cancellation arrangements above you must send a cancellation letter, by email or post, and the date the cancellation is received in our office will be the date that the cancellation takes effect from for the purposes of the sliding scales above. Your address and phone number to be inserted in the cancellation letter. Prices We reserve the right to increase our charges from the figures quoted in the Booking Contract. When a booking is confirmed it is on the clear understanding that you are being quoted the current charges for the facilities as detailed in the Booking Contract, plus VAT at current rate (where applicable, all food bookings made by the University of Birmingham exclude VAT). Payment of invoices We will invoice you for all charges, as detailed in the Booking Contract and any other charges for additional services or facilities as agreed by both parties, within 15 working days after the event. Payment must be made in Sterling, to us and addressed as detailed on the invoice. Full payment to be cleared within 30 days of the date of the invoice and you will be liable for any bank charges involved in making the payment.
Special requirements or requests If any delegate has any special request or a physical condition requiring special arrangements you must advise us at the time of the booking (or as soon as you become aware, if later) and clearly note this on the Booking Contract. We cannot guarantee our products do not contain nut properties. Notice to our customer Our food has been freshly prepared and held under temperature controlled conditions prior to delivery. We recommend that all food supplied should be consumed within two hours of delivery. The University cannot accept liability in respect to illness caused to anyone arising through failure to discard food after allotted time. Please be aware that tabling must be ready when your catering is delivered. Tables can be ordered from Fresh Thinking at the time of booking.
Freshthinking food is delivered on re-usable platters. To avoid incurring additional penalties, please make all buffet equipment available for collection at the end of your event as this will enable freshthinking to continue to provide competitive prices.
