Artist Residence supports the local arts scene through its artist in residence scheme. They select one lucky artist and give them a room for 3 months with free rent and then hold an exhibition for them at the end of their stay. All guests have access to the wi-fi cafe which has sea views and high ceilings, where you can enjoy the view with a nice cup of tea. Artist Residence’s home cook Trish has put a lot of thought into food. You're able to enjoy a cooked or continental breakfast with great things on the menu, such as artisan bread and mushrooms with halloumi. For those that need to work, each room has a desk and chair - or just find a cosy spot in the cafe, or on the beach! The on-site art gallery is popular with locals holding monthly exhibitions. There is also an art café surrounded by screenprints for sale.
Artist Residence Hotel is in the very centre of Brighton where many of the city's bars and shops are located. You are only 10 minutes from the North and South Laines as well as the usual historic places such as the Royal Pavilion and tourist attractions such the Brighton Palace Pier.
