To enable all stakeholders to make a choice easier for suppliers and promote a ripple effect, we have chosen to check the financial status of partners to be sure on their profitability. It is necessary to know the economic operation partners if they use trade agreements with other local businesses, if they have grants that allow them to work or they are completely financially independent. All these steps are in order to create a brand around the WEST (Well Eating Sustainable) cluster

STEPS to fulfill the GOOD PRACTICE 1

Assure profitability Whatever the goals, values or beliefs of a company, to make it work and can continue to exist in time, it is necessary that the company is profitable and creative money. This is also the case in a cluster.

2

Own a crop insurance Agriculture is a tough job physically, not respecting any economic law except that of nature. Indeed it is very difficult to successfully predict the production (quality and quantity) before the end of the harvest. Insurance in a bad year is one of the best ways to survive against natural hazards

3

At least 50% local partnerships To create the local enthusiasm for the brand and the cluster must set up a local network of partners. Economically it will be a success thanks to lower transport costs and with a much more direct distribution. The quality will also be waiting for you thanks to local

A company that chooses to engage in a sustainable way is moving in the right direction, but if it can infuse this approach to its suppliers, customers and other stakeholders, the impact of their choices is likely to have a broader still. Think systematically about their sphere of influence and communicate quantitative knewr the performance of its suppliers, is to engage with its stakeholders in a virtuous circle.

STEPS to fulfill the GOOD PRACTICE 1

Purchasing mutualization The sharing of work tools must become a central usual cluster. Do not invest unnecessarily if one of our partners in response to the need we can lend tool in exchange for another, or a few hours. The land can also be construed or shared.

2

Selling mutualization After sharing tools and land, we must also consider the pooling of sales. To put this in place a common point of sale, or a common distribution in order to reduce the cost of distribution and sales. In addition, this will begin to be a first step towards a common brand of product.

3

Common brand program “the Well Eating Sustainable Finally, the common brand! This step is the logical continuation of the first two and add one thing clear bie, a common communication around a single brand name. All products in the cluster must be in the name with a common distribution, packaging and sale. Together create the trademark WEST (Well Eating Sustainable).
