Through activities such as canned food drives, walkathons, disaster relief projects, and many others, you can make your mark on the world while helping others. It’s evident in the sheer number of volunteer projects completed each year how our students feel about the importance of service to the community. At the University of Indianapolis you are able to make a difference on campus, in the community, and in the world. What ways will you discover to have an impact on those around you?

HIGHLIGHTS Each year UIndy sponsors the Super Saturday for Service, highlighting the importance of service to the local community, placing several hundred student volunteers at sites all over Indianapolis to participate in a variety of service activities. Physical Therapy students recently traveled to Pommern, Tanzania, to volunteer in a health clinic. In addition to providing their physical therapy skills, the students helped out in many other ways, including farming, helping to rebuild a school, and teaching conversational English.
