rowing up the daughter of two university professors, Tian Wang (BA 2013 UC) felt certain she would, in some way, follow in their footsteps—get her PhD in a healthrelated discipline, go into medicine or pursue a career in academia. However, her career trajectory changed once she decided to follow a desire to travel the world, globetrotting as a flight attendant or pilot. The possibility of this dream becoming a reality was helped along after meeting Carol Nash (BA 1980 UC) through UC’s Career Mentorship Program.
