An advanced, instrumentation-driven education. MSc Instrumental Analytical Chemistry
Specifically designed to offer and advanced, instrumentation-driven education in modern analytical chemistry
Around the world, new universities are being established and innovative companies are being launched. They are investing in the latest analytical equipment and will want to recruit people who know how to get the most out of it.
How to apply
This course has been specifically designed to offer an advanced, instrumentation-driven education in modern analytical chemistry. The programme is comprised of three main analytical techniques – Mass spectrometry, NMR spectroscopy and X-ray diffraction.
Applications should be made via the University’s online application form.
This course will provide you with the understanding and skills in fundamental analytical and characterisation techniques, data analysis using the latest instrumental technology and facilities management. Suitable for students with a Chemistry degree, or that of a closely related subject, this one year full-time course is structured in two parts, with a hand-on learning component, followed by an individual research project.
