Your older sister was more into listening to her undiscovered indie music and your mum and dad just wanted to throw it back to 80s disco and 70s classic rock. Well, here’s a road trip playlist guaranteed to satisfy the whole family, tried and tested on my own family of five. These songs are not necessarily everyone’s cup of tea; they’re probably not what you’re going to hear on the Hottest 100, the radio or even at a party, but they are throwback classics that everybody will know, and might even get the whole family to sing along.
