BBarack Obama, 44th and current President of the United States. Barack Obama was elected on November 4th, 2008 after defeating Senator John McCain of Arizona and was relected on November 6th, 2012 after defeating former governor of Massachusetts, Mitt Romney. He is a member of the Democratic Party and was born in Honolulu, Hawaii.

There are three branches of government: The Executive Branch, which executres the law.; The judicial branch, which interpts the law; and the legislative branch which creates laws.The Federal Government has internal checks and balances to make sure that one branch of the government does not become too powerful.

John Boehner, 61st and current speaker of the House. John Boehner was elected to Speaker of the House by his fellow congressional members in 2011 and was relected in 2013. He currently reperersents the 8th district of Ohio He is a member of the Republican Party and was born in Reading, Ohio.

L John Roberts, 18th and current Chief Justice of the United States. John Roberts was appointed by George Bush in 2005 and will continue to serve until death or impeachment. He holds no offical allignment to any political party and was born in Buffalo, New York.
