Finleyville’s Carmen Vavra Repeats as Youth & Junior National Triathlon Champion Vavra also Takes Home a State Championship Carmen Vavra, age 8 from Finleyville, successfully defended her title as the 2026 Youth & Junior National Triathlon Champion at the USA Triathlon Youth & Junior National Championships, held on August 2 in Butler County, Ohio.

Vavra improved her winning time by nearly three minutes from last year's championship, outperforming competitors from across the United States. Despite rainy race conditions, she delivered a dominant performance, finishing more than a minute ahead of the rest of the girls' field and even crossing the finish line one second ahead of the fastest boy in her division.

Carmen is the daughter of James and Andrea Vavra of Finleyville.

She will be entering second grade at Ringgold North Elementary School this fall. In addition to triathlon, she competes for the Lady Rams wrestling team, the Monongahela YMCA Sharks swim team, and Octane Jiu-Jitsu. A member of Crossroads Church in Finleyville, Carmen also enjoys expressing her faith through live painting during church services.

On August 16, 2026, Carmen Vavra also competed in the Mighty Moraine Pennsylvania State Championship.

Once again, she he had a strong performance, finishing 1st overall and earning 1st place in the 8-year-old age division, making her the Pennsylvania State Champion in her age group.

Monongahela High School Class of 1964 Celebrates Classmates 80th Birthdays

The Monongahela High School Class of 1964 recently celebrated the year of their 80th Birthdays. Classmates, friends and spouses gathered together for a Friday ‘Meet & Greet’ on August 7 at Rippel’s on the Creek with catering by Ponce's Place. On Saturday, the weather was sunny and beautiful for a picnic in Mingo Creek Park catered by John & Sons Catering. Everyone shared good vibes, great conversations, funny stories, fond memories, lots of photos and delicious food. We are so blessed to be able to celebrate our 80th birthdays together.

Sky Pilot to Perform at Monessen City Park Amphitheater September 12 The City of Monessen and the Mon Valley Academy for the Arts are pleased to announce that Sky Pilot will take the stage at the Monessen City Park Amphitheater on Saturday, September 12, from 5:00PM to 7:00PM. The concert is the latest event in the City of Monessen’s Music in the Park concert series, bringing live music and community entertainment to the Monessen City Park.

Sky Pilot is known for its energetic performances and classic rock repertoire, making the group a great addition to this year’s concert lineup. Community members are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy an evening of live music in the park.

The event will feature ample parking, handicapped-accessible areas, and Hilltop VFD serving food and drinks. Guests are encouraged to arrive early, settle in, and enjoy the beautiful City Park setting.

The Music in the Park series is made possible through the support of the City of Monessen, the Mon Valley Academy for the Arts, Westmoreland County Parks and Recreation Local Arts Grant, The Pittsburgh Foundation/Community Foundation of Westmoreland Foundation, local sponsors, volunteers, and community supporters.

Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania Responds to the Death of Karoline Heintz Dear Editor, Our hearts are with Karoline Heintz’s family, friends, teammates, classmates, and everyone mourning the loss of a young woman who was just beginning a new chapter of her life. Karoline was a recent Peters Township High School graduate and freshman student-athlete at PennWest California, and her loss is being felt deeply throughout our community.

We also want to recognize the Pennsylvania State Police and local law enforcement agencies whose swift, coordinated response led to the identification and apprehension of those involved. We are grateful for their work to respond quickly during an incredibly difficult time for Karoline’s loved ones and our community.

At Domestic Violence Services of Southwestern Pennsylvania, we work every day to support survivors of domestic violence, but an equally important part of our mission is prevention. Our prevention educators work with young people throughout Washington, Greene, and Fayette counties to promote healthy relationships and challenge the attitudes and behaviors that allow violence, abuse, and control to become normalized.

But prevention cannot begin and end in a classroom. No single lesson, program, teacher, friend, or family member can prevent another person from choosing violence. Meaningful prevention requires all of us to help create communities and systems where people feel safe seeking help, healthy and respectful relationships are the expectation, abusive behavior is not excused or normalized, and those who cause harm are held accountable.

That means being willing to challenge the idea that harmful behavior is simply ‘the way things are.’ It means having difficult conversations when we encounter attitudes or behaviors that reinforce a culture in which abuse is tolerated. And it means believing that a future without relationship violence is possible.

An event like this can affect people throughout a community in different

This free event will kick off at 1:00PM with a complimentary meal and will continue with a time for honoring pastors, words from guest speakers, and opportunities to connect with churches and resources in the region. Attendees will hear testimony from Rocco Welsh, a two-time All-American wrestler from Penn State University, and will worship alongside national recording artists Jonathan Traylor and Jordan St. Cyr. Upsher, a retired top world-rated professional boxer. The event is also associated with Star Status Boxing and the Champions in Life Association.

Admission is $10 for children and $15 for adults, making the event an opportunity for families and members of the surrounding communities to come together and support local amateur boxing and the young athletes taking part.

Belle Vernon Area Church Holds Summer Party For All in the Community

By Jill Runfola Valley Remnant Church of Belle Vernon embraced the community into their church family with a Summer Party on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00PM – 3:00PM at North Belle Vernon Park.

“The goal is to bring the community together for recreation before school starts and to introduce families to the church,” said Philip Pagliari Pastor of the church.

The day was beautiful weather for a picnic, and the attendance was good. First Baptist Church of Cambridge Springs had 16 congregation members and their pastor there. Their pastor, Steven Prinz says that the Valley Remnant Church is teaching them how to start a church of their own, and they have partnered with the church for about 3 years now.

Church members and visitors to the event all fellowshipped with one another and new friendships were made. Old friends enjoyed good times together. The share-a-dish meal was delicious, and there was plenty for everyone. The Summer Party event was a success in attendance and fun had.

Cook Says More Than $1.5 Million Coming to 50th District for School Safety, Behavioral Health Improvements Rep. Bud Cook (R-Greene/Washington) announced several schools in the 50th Legislative District will be receiving more than a combined $1.5 million to make learning environments safer and provide behavioral health support for students and staff.

The grants were approved through the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency’s (PCCD) School Safety and Security Committee.

“We understand that students are our future,” Cook said. “A school should be a place where students, staff and parents feel safe. This funding helps to continue to make that possible.”

The total amount awarded to each school or school district is as follows: • Carmichaels Area School District - $140,422.

• Central Greene School District - $159,667.

• Greene County Career and Technology Center - $70,000.

• Jefferson-Morgan School District - $132,887.

• Southeastern Greene School District - $124,594.

• West Greene School District - $126,906.

• Bentworth School District - $145,861.

• Bethlehem-Center School District - $144,207.

• California Academy of Learning Charter School - $70,000.

• California Area School District - $141,551.

• Charleroi School District - $160,981.

• Intermediate Unit 1 - $70,000.

• Mon Valley Career and Technology Center - $70,000.

The PCCD’s School Safety and Security Committee administers programs designed to improve school safety and security, strengthen behavioral health supports, and provide training and technical assistance to schools across Pennsylvania.

Charity Bike Run Set for September 19 in White Oak The American Legion Riders Chapter 701 in White Oak, is hosting an annual charity bike run on Saturday, September 19, 2026. The ride will begin and end at the American Legion Post 701, 2813 Capitol Street, White Oak, PA 15131.

In-person registration begins at 9:00AM; Ride departure at 11:00AM. The ride will take approximately two hours with a rest stop. Lunch will follow at the return of the ride. WJHHS Program on the History of the Terrible Towel Myron Cope’s Daughter to be Guest Speaker Discover the story behind one of Pittsburgh’s most iconic sports symbols, the ‘Terrible Towel’, at the West Jefferson Hills Historical Society (WJHHS) September program.

Created by famed sports broadcaster Myron Cope in 1975, this piece of Pittsburgh iconography has endured through the years. It all began when Cope encouraged Steeler fans to bring yellow dish towels to a Steeler playoff game against the Baltimore Colts and wave them throughout the game. Fans did as they were instructed, and the Steelers won the game.

Had the magic created by the towel led to the victory? Some apparently thought so, and by 1976 the Steeler organization was producing a licensed towel for fans to purchase and wave at Steeler games. Fans still brandish this black and gold symbol of their team loyalty today, fifty years after its origins.

Washington County Prayer Gathering Set for Sept. 13 The Washington County Prayer Gathering is scheduled for September 13, from 1:00PM – 6:00PM, at the Washington County Fairgrounds. The purpose is to bless the community, unify and revive churches around Washington County, and strengthen the efforts of the City Mission, an organization that has served the homeless population in Washington County since 1941.

The event is spearheaded by Men of Honor SCAN THE QR CODE FOR Ministries' President, Pat O'Brien, working ADDITIONAL INFORMATION alongside other local ministries and organizations.

This free event will kick off at 1:00PM with a complimentary meal and will continue with a time for honoring pastors, words from guest speakers, and opportunities to connect with churches and resources in the region.

Attendees will hear testimony from Rocco Welsh, a two-time All-American wrestler from Penn State University, and will worship alongside national recording artists Jonathan Traylor and Jordan St. Cyr. PCHS to Host Speaker from Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village Peters Creek Historical Society (PCHS) welcomes Mr. David Scofield, director of the Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village in Avella, Washington County, PA as their guest speaker on Monday, September 28. The program will be held at 7:30PM at Wright's United Methodist Church, 788 Venetia Road, Venetia.

Mr. Scofield began his museMeadowcroft Rockshelter um career in 1988 as a demonstrating craftsman at Old Salem in Winston-Salem, NC. After working to develop a new turn of the century living history farm as a North Carolina state historic site, he moved to Western Pennsylvania to be a part in the effort to develop Meadowcroft, a National and State Register Historic Site, a US National Landmark and a Washington County History and Landmark Foundation Landmark. To visit Meadowcroft is to traverse 19,000 years of history from an archeological treasure to the interpretive villages around it. The public is welcomed to join the society for an evening that is sure to bring pride in Meadowcroft, a local, state and national historic treasure.

Enoch Wright House Docents will be on hand to open the doors and welcome guests at the Enoch Wright House, 815 Venetia Road, Venetia on Saturday, September 12 from 1:00PM to 4:00PM and Monday, September 21 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Learn about the pioneer Wright Family, visit the 1815 home, a state and national historic site and stroll up to the original log cabin moved to the site that serves as an interpretive model of the log home the Wrights originally lived in.

Divorce Support Group Available in Monongahela First United Methodist Church of Monongahela will be offering a ‘DivorceCare’ support group beginning Monday September 24, 2026 at 6:00PM at 430 W. Main Street, Monongahela. Please share this information with anyone who is walking through separation or divorce and may benefit from this 13week program.

At a weekly DivorceCare meeting, group participants will view a video featuring respected counselors, teachers, and healthcare professionals on divorce and recovery topics. After that is a small group discussion to allow people a time of sharing, support, and personal application of what they learned on the video.

Group participants will receive a book to take home filled with valuable exercises for navigating their personal road to recovery.

St. John Byzantine Catholic Church 20th Annual Classic Car Show

St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Church will hold its 20th Annual Classic Car Show on Sunday, September 27, 2026 in the parking lot of the church located at 185 E. Main Street, Uniontown, PA. Registration will start at 12:00 noon and end at 2:00PM, after which the car show will continue until 4:00PM RAIN or SHINE. There is a registration fee of $12, and the first 150 cars will receive dash plaques and goody bags. New Beginnings Church Offers Lunch and the Word to City Mission Residents

Pastors David Simpkins and John Zinn of New Beginnings Church in Canonsburg, along with more than 40 people from the congregation, visited the City Mission campus in Washington, PA recently.

They provided everything for a BBQ feast, including ribs, chicken, pork, greens, pasta salad, mac n cheese, cake from Bethel Bakery, drinks, napkins, plates, and silverware.

They cooked all the food on-site.

They offered fellowship, connection, and prayer to our residents.

And they brought a stack of Bibles to hand out to everyone. They brought so much food that everyone was welcome to have seconds and even thirds of the delicious feast. Thank you, New Beginnings Church, for your generous outpouring of love and support for those we serve.

Mother of Mercy Academy to Host Halloween-Themed 5K and Kids Fun Run in White Oak Park Mother of Mercy Academy will be hosting its inaugural ‘Howl-O-Ween’ Spooktacular 5K Walk/Run & Kids 1-Mile Fun Run on October 31, 2026, at White Oak Park in McKeesport, PA. The American Sewing Guild Welcomes You! South Hills Chapter Meets in Bethel Park Sewing has become increasingly popular. While in the past, people sewed to provide clothing and other household needs, today individuals sew for the satisfaction of creating. For the many who work at high tech jobs with increasing screen time demands, sewing has become a means of relaxation and escape from screen fatigue. In addition, the advancement of what a sewing or embroidery machine is capable of doing has grown by leaps and bounds, expanding the possibilities of what is possible in the creator’s mind.

With the goal of preserving sewing as part of the American culture, the American Sewing Guild (ASG) was established in 1978 initially as a way to keep the interest and tradition of home sewing alive, while at the same time sewing was being dropped from school curriculums and more women were returning to work with less time to sew. Today ASG operates with over 12,000 members and 135 chapters. Chapters are volunteer driven, organizing events, educational programs, community service projects, and fashion shows. The organization’s mission is to advance sewing as both an art and a life skill, promoting education, community engagement, and the preservation of sewing traditions Modern day sewers cover the gamut from garment construction, embroidery, quilting and home décor. Sewing classes are readily available in person and online.

A local chapter of the American Sewing Guild, the ‘South Hills Sewcialites’, meets at Bethel Presbyterian Church (2999 Bethel Church Road, Bethel Park) on the third Thursday of the month at 1:00PM and is available on Zoom.

Each year the Guild participates in a charitable sewing project. This past year the Guild constructed prayer pockets which were distributed to local hospitals and shelters.

At each meeting a lesson is provided to enhance sewing skills. Examples of lessons which have been provided include zipper installation, foundation paper piecing, fabric manipulation, and garment alteration techniques. Members are also able to access the online lessons from ASG’s library of classes for beginners to advanced sewers. In addition to these learning opportunities, the guild provides an opportunity to share your work and to get answers or assistance on challenging projects. Meetings offer the opportunity to connect with fellow sewing enthusiasts. Members have participated in outings to quilt shows, fabric stores, and receive discounts on sewing products, services and events.

Pins for Polio: Bowling for a Cause South Hills and White Oak Rotary Clubs Join Forces in the Fight Against Polio The Rotary Clubs of South Hills and White Oak are teaming up once again to “Get a Strike for Polio” at their annual ‘Pins for Polio’ fundraiser on Sunday, October 18, from 1:00PM to 4:00PM at Spins Bowl, 5840 Buttermilk Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15207.

The afternoon will bring together Rotarians, families, friends and community members for three hours of bowling and fellowship while raising funds for Rotary’s ongoing fight against polio.

For $25 per person, participants will receive three hours of unlimited bowling, shoe rental and two pieces of cheese pizza. Those who would like to support the fundraiser in another way can sponsor a bowling lane for $50 and receive recognition during the event.

Pins for Polio combines a fun community afternoon with one of Rotary’s longest-standing humanitarian commitments. Rotary members around the world have worked for decades toward the goal of ending polio, and local events such as this one help keep that effort moving forward.

Senior Expo in Elizabeth Township on September 4 State Representative Andrew Kuzma is sponsoring his 4th Annual Senior Expo on Friday, September 4 at the Boston Spectrum, 6001 Smithfield Street, Elizabeth Township, 15135.

Approximately 40 vendors participate in the expo. The vendors provide a wide range of information and assistance for seniors regarding health, finance, veteran benefits and connect cards through Pittsburgh Rapid Transit on site. Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter To Hold Thirty Second Annual Labor Day Poker Run The Westmoreland Yough Trail Chapter of the Regional Trail Corporation will hold its Annual Poker Run on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, 2026. The walking/biking non-competitive event will start at the Arthur H. King Access Area of the Youghiogheny River Trail in West Newton. Proceeds from this fundraiser will be used by trail volunteers to maintain, preserve and enhance the Westmoreland County section of the Great Allegheny Passage.

The Poker Run consists of three events: 1). A walking, jogging, wheelchair optional, four-mile flat course. 2). A level 12-mile bike ride that runs south along the Youghiogheny River to Smithton Beach and back. 3). An endurance 20-mile bike ride that runs south along the Youghiogheny River Trail to Whitsett and back. All cyclists are required to wear an ANSI or SNELL approved helmet.

The Poker Run is not a race. Participants walk or ride at their own pace taking as little time, or up to two hours, to finish their course. At checkpoints throughout the course participants will pick a playing card to develop a poker hand. At the end of the course each poker hand is tallied and the person with the best hand in each of the three events receives a cash prize award. Afterwards a raffle is conducted, and all participants are eligible to win gift card door prizes of various kinds and values that have been purchased by the WYTC. A bicycle is the grand prize give away. There will also be a half-the-take drawing.

Many people are unaware that the trail is not maintained by county or state workers, but by volunteer effort. The Poker Run is the major fundraiser for the volunteer maintenance of the 10.5 miles of trail that runs through Westmoreland County. People come from all around the southwest region to enjoy the scenery, smell the early morning air along the river, enjoy the camaraderie of the event and have a chance to win prizes.

September 11 Remembrance Program at Long Branch Community Grange Twenty-five years, really? It's like it was just last week. I think we all remember exactly where we were when the TV shows were all interrupted with our first view of the twin towers On Friday September 11, 2026, the Long Branch Community Grange is inviting the Community to come remember with us. We will have a program presented by individuals who were affected by this event and what they have done in the years since then.

Because this event begins at 6:00PM and many of you will be coming directly from work or school, we are hoping to have a few food trucks participate to give you the opportunity to purchase dinner and sit around and talk with your neighbors or a new friend.

Garage Demolition Continues at Penn Highlands Mon Valley Demolition work continues on the parking garage at Penn Highlands Mon Valley, with crews having removed more than three-quarters of the structure.

The garage will be replaced with a modern, level, paved parking lot featuring upgraded safety lighting and improved campus access. Hospital operations, emergency services and patient care remain fully open and uninterrupted throughout the demolition and construction process.

The 6th Annual Belle Vernon Area Rotary ‘Regatta on the Yough’ was held on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Cedar Creek Park. All water activities were cancelled because of river conditions; however, all landside activities were held.

UPMC Launches Saturday Injury Clinic in Washington New walk-in clinic provides student athletes with local weekend access to expert orthopaedic care WASHINGTON, Pa. — Student athletes in Washington County and surrounding communities have a new option for fast, convenient treatment of sports-related injuries. On Saturday, Aug. 29, UPMC launched a Saturday Injury Clinic to provide timely orthopaedic care for young athletes injured during games, practices and other athletic activities.

The walk-in clinic, located in Neighbor Health Building #1, Suite 202 at 95 Leonard Ave., will be held every Saturday through Oct. 31 and will provide evaluation and treatment for athletes ages 10 to 26 with recent injuries.

The new service is another example of how UPMC Washington continues to expand access to specialty care and advanced services for people in the community.

"Since becoming part of UPMC, we've been committed to bringing more services, specialists and advanced care closer to home," said Brook Ward, president of UPMC Washington and UPMC Greene. "The opening of our Saturday Injury Clinic is another way we're delivering on that promise. Student athletes and their families shouldn't have to wait until Monday or travel outside the community to receive expert care after an injury. This clinic helps athletes begin treatment sooner and return safely to the activities they enjoy."

The clinic is designed to evaluate injuries sustained within the previous three days. No appointment is required, and patients will be seen on a first-come, firstserved basis. Families are encouraged to arrive between 7:30 and 8 a.m. to register and help ensure they can be seen that day. Patients should bring their insurance card, and applicable copays will be collected at the time of service.

Business & Merchant News Pleasant Hills Rotary Expands Its Reach with New South Hills Name A familiar local Rotary Club has a new name — and a renewed vision for the future. After more than 70 years as the Rotary Club of Pleasant Hills, the club is beginning its next chapter as the Rotary Club of the South Hills.

The new name reflects something that has been happening naturally for years. While the club remains deeply connected to Pleasant Hills, its membership, service projects and community partnerships now extend throughout the South Hills.

“Our roots are here, and we are incredibly proud of them,” said Club President Cindy Weiss. “But when we looked at who we serve, where our members come from and the organizations we work with, South Hills simply

represents who we have become.”

The club currently works with three high school Interact Clubs at Thomas Jefferson, Brentwood and South Park, awards scholarships to area students, supports local food banks and community organizations, and collaborates with other Rotary clubs and nonprofit organizations throughout the area.

Recent service efforts have included placing AEDs with community organizations, providing meals and supplies to families in need, supporting area schools and youth programs, participating in community service projects and continuing Rotary's worldwide effort to eradicate polio.

The club also hopes its broader iden-

tity will introduce Rotary to people who may never have realized there was a Rotary club serving their community.

“We want people throughout the South Hills to know that there is a place for them in Rotary,” Weiss said.

“You don't have to live in one particular municipality. If you care about your community, enjoy meeting people and want to be part of something that makes a difference, we would love for you to get to know us.”

For Weiss, a second-generation Rotarian, changing the name also came with an appreciation for the club's history. Her father was a member of the club, making the decision especially meaningful. “I know how

much the history and traditions of this club matter,” Weiss said. “I believe the best way we can honor the Rotarians who built it is to make sure the club they loved remains strong and continues serving our communities for generations to come.”

The name may be new, but the mission remains the same: Service Above Self. The Rotary Club of the South Hills sees its new name not as a departure from its past, but as an opportunity to build upon it — creating new partnerships, welcoming new members and finding even more ways to serve. The Rotary Club of Pleasant Hills built a proud legacy. The Rotary Club of the South Hills is ready to carry it forward.

By Jill Runfola The Grand Reopening of the Monessen Free Store 15062 on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM, welcomed 98 patrons to the newly reorganized place after adding an additional classroom.

There was a line-up waiting to get into the store, and the first 20 shoppers received door prizes.

Just one week later, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, a record 150 patrons shopped in the newly renovated store.

The Grand Reopening event featured refreshments, pastries and raffle tickets with winning baskets. They store has a dedicated team of 20 volunteers, and the Grand Reopening has been led by Courtney Moran and her mother Cheryl Mentzler, who all gave generously of their time, a celebration of love.

Since opening in June 2023, the Free Store represents much more than additional square footage; it’s a testament to what happens when a community comes together, according to Moran.

sories. Classroom #2 carries: housewares, dinnerware, home décor, linens, pet food & supplies, toys & more! Moran says they are better able to serve the community with extra space.

The store has relied entirely on donated goods, generous financial contributions, and thousands of volunteer hours. The store accepts donations of new and gently used clothing, household items, toys, books, and other essentials for the community, then gives back to those in need. Last year’s estimates show

that the store welcomed 2,670 shoppers during just 53 days of operation and redistributed 12,125 items back into the community.

Even after transitioning to a Saturday only schedule in March 2025, the need for the store’s services has remained strong. They are in partnership with Union Cleaners who launder the clothes that may need cleaned for the customers. Also, the store is in partnership with Mon Valley Paws who donates pet food and supplies. Moran says their mission is simple: “to preserve dignity, reduce waste,

and ensure everyone has access to essentials they need.”

Moran stated, “What started in 2023 has grown into something far bigger than we imagined, and we’re so grateful to our Monessen and surrounding communities for making it possible.”

The Trustees of the California Area School District Foundation held their annual reorganization meeting on July 13, 2026. It was reported that $18,500 in scholarships were awarded to 25 students in the district. Teacher grants were also awarded as part of the mission to enrich, enhance and expand educational opportunities in the district.

Clairton to Host 1st Annual Amateur Boxing Show

By Charlotte Hopkins Clairton Park will become the setting for an exciting evening of amateur boxing when the 1st Annual ‘Jim Cerqua Hands Up Guns Down: Showdown in the Park’ takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026.

The event will feature top amateur boxers from Western Pennsylvania and beyond. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m., with the first bout scheduled to begin at 4:00 p.m.

The event will be hosted by Clairton mayor, Jim Cerqua, and Steven Upsher, a retired top world-rated professional boxer. The event is also associated with Star Status Boxing and the Champions in Life Association.

Admission is $10 for children and $15 for adults, making the event an opportunity for families and members of the surrounding communities to come together and support local amateur boxing and the young athletes taking part.

The Jim Cerqua Hands Up Guns Down: Showdown in the Park will bring the excitement of amateur boxing while embracing Clairton pride and highlighting the event’s message of youth empowerment and building champions.
