You will have the opportunity to: • attend talks on your subject of interest • find out all you need to know about student support and student finance • tour our campuses, guided by one of our Student Ambassadors • talk to staff and current students • see our accommodation • talk to our staff about the support available to students

Welcome

On Arrival Registration Registration desks are located in the Atrium of the de Havilland Campus and will open from 09.00 on Saturday 17 March 2018. Registration desks can also be found at Main Reception on our College Lane Campus. Refreshments The restaurant and CafĂŠ Moot will be open from 08.30-15.00 serving beverages, snacks and meals.

Tours and Support services

Tours de Havilland Campus and Accommodation A walk round the campus lasting approximately 30 minutes led by one of our current students. Tours depart every 15 minutes from the Atrium with the first tour starting at 09.00 and the last tour departing at 14.30. de Havilland Campus - Hertfordshire Sports Village Tours of the complex are available throughout the day. Tours start at 09.30 and the last tour will depart at 14.30. Tours last approximately 15 minutes. Please collect your ticket from the Hertfordshire Sports Village Stand in the Atrium.

Support Services at the University Student Wellbeing Supporting you with emotional and mental health, disability and health-related issues. Hutton Hub, College Lane On-Campus Student Support Residential Assistants (RAs) are here to help you in your accommodation. Off-Campus Student Support Living off campus? Community Liaison and Support Officers can assist if you need any help. Hertfordshire Students’ Union Advice & Support Centre Free, confidential and impartial advice providing you with academic, personal, financial, housing and legal support. Hutton Hub, College Lane Chaplaincy A quiet space, place to pray, meditate or reflect, the Chaplaincy Team are here for you.

Student Wellbeing - Disability Book a 15 minute appointment on the day to speak to one of our disability advisers about your specific needs, what you might want to consider before starting your studies and how we can support you as a student at the University. Appointments can be made through our Student Wellbeing ambassador in the Atrium. Appointments will take place in the Hutton Hub on College Lane campus. Getting here By Rail There are fast and frequent trains to Hatfield from London Kings Cross, and shuttle buses will run from Hatfield Station to the College Lane and de Havilland campuses. By Bus Please visit the Uno website www.unobus.info for timetable information. By Road The campuses are close to junction 3 of the A1(M). The post code for College Lane is AL10 9AB and AL10 9EU for de Havilland. Please note that College Lane is a no through road. The campus entrance is signposted from J3 A1(M). . Parking All Hatfield Campus car parks are free for Open Day visitors. Free Shuttle Buses You can easily visit both campuses during the Open Day using the free shuttle bus. The bus leaves from the bus stop at College Lane Forum Hertfordshire and at the back of the de Havilland Campus behind the Sports Village. There is also a free shuttle bus service from and to Hatfield Station. All services start at 08.30 and the last buses will depart at 15.30.
