#Can you tell us a brief bio, nature of business, and what drives you to set up this company? I grew up managing and growing my mother's multiple businesses from age 9 to 14, so it was natural for me to be in management consulting with my last corporate job being with Deloitte where my duties were around market entry and business expansion. Specifically with Coronet how it started – back in 2013 an ex-colleague from Deloitte approached our management consulting practice. She had started a hair extension business with just $500 and it was now growing, she wanted us to put systems in place in order to formalize and scale the business. Fast-forward 36 months later we scaled her business into 4 branches, 40 full-time sta , and $2 million a year in revenue. We received an overwhelming request from brands across Africa wanting the same success story. Knowing that they all had similar pain points, we soon realized that we

needed to produce the same transformation at scale and we needed a solution that can deliver industrywide transformation. During dinner with a family friend who is with IBM, he said blockchain was a glovefit solution. We discussed it with the IBM investment committee: who gave us seed capital to build the solution and a second funding tranche during the COVID 19 storms, to complete it.
