Proposta/ Memória Descritiva de Arquitectura A intervenção proposta visa essencialmente a melhoria das condições de habitabilidade do edifício, fundamentalmente através da recuperação das estruturas degradadas por acção do tempo ou por defeitos construtivos: infiltrações que afectam sobretudo a parede meeira noroeste, degradação de soalhos e estruturas em madeira, degradação de tectos em fasquiado e seu revestimento, degradação de caixilharias, portadas e guarnições. Será ao nível do sótão que será feita a intervenção de maior vulto. Para garantir maior conforto e a salubridade dos espaços é proposto um aumento do pé-direito, conseguido pela alteração da cobertura existente. Será mantida a linha de beirado actual e levantada uma platibanda a partir desse ponto, elevando-se sensivelmente à cota das construções adjacentes do lado sudeste. A alteração da cobertura proposta aumentará significativamente as condições de habitabilidade e conforto do sótão, não sacrificando uma adequada integração na envolvente imediata. Os vãos abertos na cobertura não terão qualquer expressão no alçado em que se inserem, não sendo visíveis ao nível da rua. Proposition/ Architecture Description The proposed intervention aims essentially at an improvement of the building habitability conditions, namely through the recovery of degraded structures as a consequence of time and construction defaults:infiltrations that mostly affect the northwest demising wall, deterioration of the wooden floors, wooden structures and wooden ceilings, frames, shutters and door lining. The largest intervention will be made in the attic. There will be an increase of the height of the floor, that will be accomplished through a change in the existent roof, which will assure more comfort and salubrity. The roof line will be maintained, and a platband will be installed from that point on, raising to the level of the southeast neighbouring buildings. The proposed change in the roof will highly increase the habitability conditions and comfort in the attic, and will not compromise its integration in the surrounding context. The openings on the roof will not be visible from the street. In the basement the floor level will be homogenised, to eliminate the existent relieves. As a consequence, the majority of the compartments will have the same level as the southeast compartment, except for the division pavement for outdoor access. This will have to be raised.
