REIMAGINING HALEY WORK CONCEPTS RETHINKING WORK:
The idea that all work should be done within an enclosed, private office is one that deserves a revisit. The concepts of public workspaces for collaboration have caught on within the corporate world while students have also expressed interest in and increasingly been given flexible spaces for learning and studying. This is an important concept that should also be incorporated into the areas that faculty occupy by blending and merging the traditional office with more public and shared spaces along a spectrum that aims to accommodate all types of faculty work as best as possible.
