Science matters This winter FPG sponsored two UNC Morehead Planetarium and Science Center Science Cafés at Top of the Hill restaurant’s Back Bar, popular monthly events where UNC experts tie their research to topics in the news. Sherika Hill, PhD, (pictured at left) presented her research on adverse childhood experiences and adolescent mental health outcomes, which built on the earlier presentations of Roger MillsKoonce, PhD, and Margaret Sheridan, PhD, who discussed the developmental impact of family separation, such as that experienced at the U.S.-Mexico border.
