EVENTS Residence Council Elections Interested in making your Residence Community a better place? Run for Residence Council! • Nomination forms are now available from Katie’s office, and must be completed & returned by Friday, February 28th to be eligible to campaign for all of the following positions: • President • Vice-President • Registrar • Athletics Rep. • Food & Environment Rep. • International Rep. • Marketing & Entertainment Reps. • Volunteer Rep. • Campaigning will take place from Monday, March 3rd until Wednesday, March 12th. Start brainstorming flashy posters & catchy slogans! • Elections will take place in the Mackay pedway on Thursday, March 13th. The Students United for Respect & Equality (S.U.R.E.) will be selling a variety of baked goodies from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., so make sure you stop by for a yummy treat! All proceeds will be going to First Steps Housing, which provides a supportive environment where young mothers can continue their education, further their personal development, and gain the skills required to thrive as individuals & parents.
