LETTER FROM THE ADVISORS

UMKC Community, We are so impressed with the participation in UPB events and programming this year. We loved seeing students back on campus having fun at our events and building connections with peers. The success of UPB would not be possible without a variety of partners. First, we want to thank our Executive Board from this year for their hard work. They each brought creativity and dedication to their events, which paid off tremendously. We would also like to thank our campus partners in the Office of Student Involvement, Campus Recreation, Auxiliary Services, Student Government Association, and more for helping us provide dynamic programs. In addition, there were many student and staff volunteers that supported our events and help them run efficiently. Returning students, we hope you continue to get involved at UPB events and grow your pride in attending UMKC. Graduating students, we hope your participation in UPB events has created positive memories that you will reflect back on when you think of UMKC. Sincerely, Anthony Maly Sarah Amos

NACA CONFERENCE

In February, the UPB Executive Board and Advisors attended the National Association for Campus Activities (NACA) Conference. The knowledge and relationships gained during NACA were beneficial for both event coordination and professional development.

ROO WEDNESDAY During 2020, UPB started a new tradition called Roo Wednesday as a simple way for students to get involved at UPB events. This year UPB has expanded the concept of Roo Wednesday to feature engaging activities, fun snacks, and prizes every other Wednesday in Jazzman's Cafe. Popular activities included pumpkin painting, board games, bingo, donut decorating, and more!

LATE NIGHT BREAKFAST Late Night Breakfast is a popular end-of-semester tradition hosted by UPB during Stress Less Fest. Winter Late Night Breakfast took place in the Atterbury Dining Hall, and Spring Late Night Breakfast was catered by Chris Cakes. We love bringing students together to take a study break and connect with others.
