Revival! The book of Acts is the greatest book on revivals which has ever been written. The Book of Acts gives a vivid and clear description of the birth of the church and of the expansion of the gospel. When we focus on the event of Pentecost we see a powerful demonstration of unity through prayer which resulted in the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. This outpouring manifested tongues of fire and the apostles speaking the praises of God in native tongues of those present. The act which sparked off that revival fire was the gathering of the 120 believers in prayer. Through united prayer and worship we as the body of Christ can bring a wave of revival. This revival fire gives us and those around us a new consciousness of spiritual strength and an urge to go out and publicly proclaim the gospel of the kingdom and the good news that Jesus had risen from the dead.

ACTS 1:8 “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."

Our prayer here at LCF is that you will be revived through prayer and intimacy with the Lord!
