Happy Holidays from Idaho! The year 2013 is nearly coming to a close, and from the International Programs Office at the University of Idaho, we wish you all a very happy holiday season. We have had a very busy, but productive year, and at this time we’d like to take a moment to reflect over the past months and offer our heartfelt appreciation for all the hard work you’ve done. Thank you for being a part of the University of Idaho’s team and for helping us reach students all across the globe. We wish you and your family all the best and a very happy start to 2014!

With the Spring 2014 semester beginning in just a few short weeks, there are many important updates and resources in this first quarter newsletter for the year. Spring 2014 Pre-Arrival Checklist (American Language & Culture Program—ALCP)

Spring 2014 Pre-Arrival Checklist (Undergraduate and Graduate) Students who have been accepted for the upcoming Spring 2014 semester should have already received information regarding prearrival and orientation to their University of Idaho VandalMail and personal email addresses as listed on their application. Pre-Arrival Checklist Orientation Schedule Spring 2014 Orientation will be held January 9, 10, 13, and 14. Students are required to attend and should arrive at least 1 day prior to the start of orientation. We provide Airport Pickup at the Moscow-Pullman (PUW) regional airport. Students must complete the following form: Airport Pickup Request Form Students won’t be able to move in to their Residence Hall until January 12th. Students may reserve their own hotel room from this recommended list, or they can request us to reserve a room for them here: Orientation Hotel Request Form

Orientation for the ALCP Spring I session will be January 15-17. Students should arrive at least one day prior to the start of orientation.

Graduate (Priority)

All students applying for the Fall semester should complete their applications by February 15th. This is very important, particularly for students interested in financial aid. Applications will still be accepted up until May 1st for the Fall.
