What’s the weirdest thing you’ve seen in someone else’s house?

SPOTLIGHT I spell my name with a ‘y’ because I’ve always felt the need to be different, to distinguish myself from those around me – I wanted a brand I could grow and call my own so “Eddy” and who I am grew into something all its own. Sneakers, food and ads are my life at the moment. In sneaker culture I found a tangible way to express myself, and in food well let’s just say I found heaven because you can never have enough good food. Like mac n’ cheese with bacon – straight greatness. Other than that, I am a first-generation college student and blessed to be an MFOS scholar. When I first got here, I started out in Marketing but ended up hating finance and economics so much that I switched to advertising (God am I happy I made that decision). Since then I’ve found love in the idea of having a career that allows me to understand people, their habits, and their attitudes in order to catalyze change in the world through brands’ influence. It’s honestly one of the most fascinating things to me and the more great work I see, the more I fall in love.

ADVENTURE REWIND Rookie/Guru Bowling Last Thursday, rookies and gurus alike tested their bowling skills at the Reitz gameroom. Strikes and spares rolled in despite the absence of the beloved kiddy bumpers. Our next awesome event is the Super Bowl Party this Sunday, Feb. 4! There will be friends, food, football and (the best part) Super Bowl commercials!

Scott brings a unique history of leadership and creativity to the 22squared team, and has been with the agency since 2000. He began his career as a copywriter with Benito Advertising, later joined Earle Palmer Brown, and then took on the Executive Creative Director role at Henderson Advertising. Though Scott has led our agency to receive multiple creative accolades during his time as Chief Creative Officer, his leadership abilities led him to being named GM of our Tampa office. In his current role, he guides the Tampa office in recruiting talent, building successful client relationships, and nurturing our unique 22 culture.
