We asked Sabrina... Draw your favorite fruit.
SPOTLIGHT I’m in my third and final year, studying advertising and psychology. Honestly, all that I want to do in life is make art. I have a powerful affinity for illustration and graphic design. My favorite projects involve album artwork and tattoo designs because of the permanency and meaning of each. I run an Instagram, @bysabs, where I post a lot of my artwork. Check it out, or don’t! Really, my art is very internally driven, one of those things that I do to feel the most like myself. At the same time, I like to think making art is my biggest chance to impact this world, so I really chase it. Aside from that, I love to run, make playlists, and spend time outside. My favorite color is red (so I only draw in black, white, and red). I love Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and most 80s movies, really. Big spaghetti fan, but also don’t know how people can pick a favorite food?

FABIOLA LARA I am currently a content strategist at Tumblr working on the content and social team. In this role I manage the content strategy for our Instagram channel as well as social video production. Managing an Instagram account for another social platform may seem backwards but it’s necessary for brand awareness. I maintain our daily Instagram calendar and work closely with the Creative team to produce regular stories and on-site event coverage. Instagram aside I produce, shoot, and edit video content for our team both on and off Tumblr. My favorite thing about working at Tumblr is not only that I am working at a company I grew up on, but I am also working at a positive and political company. Tumblr does a lot of community focused campaigns and isn’t afraid to be political which means a lot to me, especially under the country’s current administration.
