My name is Minerve Jean and I’m a proud Caribbean hailing from Miami! I’m a junior who’s majoring in Advertising on a pre-law track. I’m also Assistant Speakers Director to Ad society. One of my biggest passions is Writing! I never go anywhere without a notebook and pencil because from words grow dreams. You never know where inspiration can come from and when it does, you have to write it down before it flies away! I run a website under my name where I bring my inspirations to life as well as a YouTube channel. When I’m not doing either, you can find me watching Netflix aka Stranger Things.

ADVENTURE REWIND Chicago Trip
Last week, 25 Ad Society members braved the cold to visit top advertising agencies in Chicago, IL. In two days, Ad Society visited six agencies including giants like Ogilvy & Mather and Leo Burnett. The trip inspired students to take the ad industry by a storm and hustle to secure a summer internship or entry-level job. Most, if not all, of the members, can agree the best addition to the trip was Chicago’s first snowfall of the season.

This included training, diversity and inclusion initiatives, employee engagement and internal communications. She has been honored as a JWT High Potential, an Advertising Club on New York I’m Part Fellow and an Ambassador for She Runs It. Prior to J. Walter Thompson, she started her career at Morgans Hotel Group as Human Resources Coordinator. Jessica is a graduate of University of Florida class of 2014 with a Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations. During her time at UF, Jessica was President of Reitz Union Board Entertainment and was recognized from the Alumni Association as an Outstanding Female Leader.
