Titan Travel The Titans travel by air and by bus to their games, but each method has its own unique way of making sure the team misses as little as class time as possible. When traveling on the road, the Titans utilize buses with a power supply and wireless internet. The buses are also extremely spacious and fully equipped with DVD’s and flat screen TV’s. All of the resources allow the team to enjoy life on the road as a student-athlete as well as assist each Titan with getting their studies and work done on the road. New to this year will be more trips via charted flights as the Titans will be airborne for such trips as going to nationally ranked Syracuse and New Mexico as well as to Milwaukee. UDM will also hit the air in a commercial flight to Mississippi State and who knows what kind of travel could be used for their ESPNU BracketBusters game in late February. The charter flights will potentially allow the team to fly and return home on game days, which could cut in half the amount of class time the Detroit student-athletes miss as well as get the team home at a reasonable time for class the next day.
