FINAL TRANSCRIPTS All official High School and College transcripts must be postmarked by July 1, 2017. Review Instructions provided on the MyApplication Checklist. You are responsible for submitting requests for transcripts directly to all the high schools and colleges you attend. For International transcripts, please review the webpage Required Documents from Schools Outside the United States for information regarding submitting transcript from academic institutions outside the U.S. UC San Diego cannot request official transcripts from schools on your behalf. Schools registered with Parchment [formerly Docufide]may submit transcripts to UC San Diego electronically. You can also request your school to mail it directly to UC San Diego in a sealed envelope. These documents are required to validate your admission. Your admission is subject to cancellation for not submitting all official transcripts by the July 1 deadline.
AP TEST SCORES
Advanced Placement (AP) scores are sent in July from the testing agency to the university you designated. Each report is cumulative and includes grades for all the AP Exams you have ever taken (unless you requested that one or more scores be withheld from a college or cancelled). It’s your responsibility to ensure we receive all test scores you have taken. You should verify • the proper spelling of your name; and • your accurate date of birth are the same on your College Board testing records as on your UC San Diego application. Be sure you listed UC San Diego (school code 4836) on your score report request; otherwise, official AP scores are not sent to us. You must submit your request to College Board before June 15. That’s the deadline for requests for grade withholding, grade cancellation or a change in college grade report recipient. Requests not submitted by this date may not be processed prior to your scheduled enrollment (course registration) time. Most AP Score Reports are sent out by mid-July.
If you completed the Intersegmental General Education Transfer Curriculum (IGETC), you must: 1. Complete all courses before transfer to UC San Diego (by end of spring 2017). 2. Obtain certification (postmarked by July 15, 2017) from a California community college. 3. Request the certification in advance to allow time for academic advising from UC San Diego. IGETC is a series of California community college courses that meets UC San Diego’s lower-division general education requirements for Muir, Marshall, Sixth, and Warren. Roosevelt and Revelle may require additional general education courses.
