What is Broncho Buddies? Broncho Buddies is an intercultural program pairing UCO American students with international students. After being matchedbycomon interests, students are introduced at a kickoff partyinSeptember. Throughout the semester the Centre forGlobalCompetency hosts fun events for Broncho Buddies to attend.Typicalevents include Thunder basketball games, Laser Tag, Bowling, and Cultural excursions throughout Edmond andOklahoma. Central’s Forensic Science program is ranked #1 in the United States. Most students are able to receive an internship during their studies. Dr. Dwight Adams is the current director of the program after having served as the director of the largest FBI Laboratory in the world. He also led the FBI’s research team that developed the DNA techniques first used in 1988 and oversaw the creation of the national DNA database.
