Hartford, Conn. Before UConn: Hinds comes to Storrs after earning All-State her junior and senior years at Loomis Chaffee, along with All-New England her senior campaign... Was a captain her senior year and the team’s most valuable player... Her freshman and sophomore years, Hinds played for the Trinidad National Team as she scored goals against Chile and Nigeria during the 2010 U-17 Women’s World Cup. Personal: Liana Hinds is the daughter of Lennus Hinds and Debra Williams… Born February 23, 1995… A Molecular and Cell Biology major. Hinds on UConn: “I chose UConn because it has always been my dream to attend ever since I was young. While growing up and noticing both the athletic and academic prestige that UConn has, I believe it provides an atmosphere that will allow me to thrive both on and off the soccer field. I feel that UConn is the best school for me and I couldn’t imagine myself going anywhere else. I can’t wait to be a part of this team!” The coaching staff on Liana: “We are very excited to have Liana join our team. She is an attacking player who has experience on the international level. She has the ability to change a game single handedly and will be a great threat for us either as a forward or an attacking midfielder.”

Before UConn: Competed with CFC United Club team that won the Connecticut State Championship. ..Jackson was a member of the 3 vs. 3 State Championship team in 2007 and placed third in regional competition... She earned All-Conference honors in 2009 and 2011 as she was the leading scorer on the Windsor High School varsity team from the forward and central midfield positions... With a 3.65 GPA, Jackson is in the Top 15% of her class and earned the Academic Achievement Award in 2008, 2009 and 2011. Personal: Krystina is the daughter of Nigel and LaVerne Jackson…a Psychology major…born September 15, 1994. Jackson On UConn: “I’ve always loved the idea of playing for my home school. The team, coaches, and proud Husky spirit ensured that I would enjoy being a part of the UConn family. Becoming a Husky was always a dream of mine and I can’t wait to experience all that UConn has to offer.” The coaching staff on Krystina: “She is an outstanding athlete and good defender with very good speed and ability to play accurate long balls.”
