Before UConn: Four-year starter and three-year captain at Berkshire... Was WNEPSSA All-Star four years and was an All-State selection in 2010... Led Berkshire to its first winning record and playoff appearance her senior season... Was the Berkshire Underclassmen Athlete of the Year... Won the MVP and Spirit awards her sophomore and senior campaigns... Led her team in scoring all four years.... Also played four years of lacrosse, a year of ice hockey and a year of squash.
Before UConn: A four-year letterwinner for Tolland High School in Tolland, Connecticut…Earned AllConference, All-State, and All-Courant honors in 2009 and 2010…Captained the team her senior year…Helped lead the team to two conference championships…Also earned four letters in track and field and three in basketball.
Personal: Ruby Carroll Fee...Born on September 9, 1993... Daughter of Matthew and Sheila... Has twin brother, Henry... Studying Economics.
Gallo on UConn: “I chose UConn because I wanted to go to school close to home. Growing up as a kid I often attended UConn soccer games, and I dreamed to play for UConn one day myself. I am excited to get started and be a Husky.”
Fee on UConn: “I was impressed with the campus, facilities and coaches. I look forward to a high level of soccer and a good style of play.” The coaching staff on Ruby: “Ruby is a complete soccer player. She is very simple and composed on the ball and has remarkable vision as a central midfielder. She has a great touch on the ball and understands the game better than most players her age. Ruby will add great depth to our midfield and we are excited she is coming to UConn.”
Personal: Allison Margaret is the daughter of Gerald and Shannon Gallo…an Elementary Education major…born September 29, 1994.
The coaching staff on Allison: “Alli is a great kid and will be a nice addition to our program. She is a speedy athlete who is smooth technically with good vision on the ball.”
