DG Anchor Splash Victory Active brothers Aukai, Chase, Eric and Chika went out to sunset rec and put on a great showing at Delta Gamma’s Philanthropy event: Anchor Splash. All together the event raised over $30,000 for cancer research.

Walking for those in Need To continue the tradition of the “Sig Alph Saturdays” brothers joined together with Autism Speaks for a walkathon thrown at the Rose Bowl. The event turned out perfect and we’re excited to return next year to help out.

Giving Back This winter brothers took a trip out to greater LA to put in some service. With gloves and paint brushes in hand, we repainted a mural and did some needed gardening. The brothers of Cal Delta also enjoyed taking a break and playing some kickball with the kids at Roosevelt Elementary.

Chika Ezeh Hunter Iwig Brother Hunter Iwig has worn multiple hats throughout his time at Cal Delta. He has served as Eminent Deputy Archon, Recorder, Philanthropy, alumni and bro-hood chairman. Outside of the house Hunter serves as the director of UCLA’s chapter of Camp Kesem, a studentrun nonprofit organization that supports kids through and beyond a parent’s cancer. After graduating with a degree in Economics, Hunter is starting a job in commercial real estate brokerage.

Chika Ezeh is a first year student and Sig Alph from Rancho Cucamonga. He’s currently studying Economics and plans to enter the banking industry after college. In addition to being scholarship chair, Chika is also a part of Bruin Asset Management and is a recipient of the Quest Bridge Scholarship. This summer Brother Chika will be interning at Balmoral Funds, and soaking up the Los Angeles rays.

Tyler Morad Brother Tyler Morad is a senior studying Neuroscience. Along with his numerous positions in the house, Tyler has also served as IFC president. His favorite memories while at Cal Delta were during his time spent living in the house, claiming he wouldn’t trade it for anything. As he hangs up his Intramural trophies and graduates, Tyler plans to take a productive gap year and then apply to medical school.

This past March both Cal Delta actives and alumni gathered together to commemorate the late Andrew Jacks. Andrew was a member of the Alpha Iota pledge class and was set to graduate last year. As a final tribute to our brother, a Lion plaque fixture has been installed in the main room. The art piece is how we’ll always remember Ajax, and how Cal Delta will always have a piece of him.

Additionally, our house has earned some of the most lucrative internship opportunities on-campus, from companies such as Amazon and Bank of America.
