International Programs Popular Programs and Services Academic and Professional English Training– American Language Center (ALC) For students who want to prepare to study in a U.S. university, certificate program, or for personal or professional purposes, our programs take a rigorous and interactive approach to instruction. Advanced academic courses provide UCLA-approved transferable credit.
Academic and Career Advising This service is for students who plan to apply to a university or pursue professional development. No-cost advising for full-time students includes guidance in choosing a college, university, or professional certificate program, meeting admissions requirements, completing applications, and writing admissions essays. We also provide career guidance to working professionals.
Study Abroad This program is for international university students currently enrolled in a degree program in their home country. Students can study at UCLA for 1–2 quarters and experience life in Los Angeles in much the same way as American students.
Certificate Programs Our certificate programs offer over 40 specialized fields for international students and professionals are taught by industry experts. Popular certificates include Digital Marketing, Sustainability, Business of Entertainment, Filmmaking, and International Trade and Commerce. Programs provide access to internships, optional practical training (OPT), advising, career services, and the UCLA Global Alumni Network.
Academic Writing and Presentations Skills For students who want to prepare to study at a U.S. university, certificate program, or for personal or professional purposes, these 50-hour courses focus on writing and presentation skills relevant to their chosen fields of study.
