Global Business: International Immersion Project Today’s rapidly changing business world demands an understanding of international business practices. The Walton Executive MBA meets this need through an innovative and structured opportunity designed specifically for working professionals. Students will gain first-hand knowledge of global business through experiential projects in one of two rapidly developing economies — China or India. Global Business MGMT 5373/ECON 5373 provides an integrated overview of the global business environment and the challenges they pose to modern organizations. A two-week global immersion to China or India will follow introductory course content. Student teams will use the overseas immersion to take a deep dive into a key business issue or a key issue faced by a real company as part of their main project for the course.* Travel and accommodations are not included in the tuition cost of the Executive MBA program. *Students who cannot travel abroad due to extenuating circumstances are eligible to apply for an exception to the travel requirement.
