“I went on a transfer trip with Ms. Van Taylor to ASUJonesboro. That trip helped me solidify my career goals. Before that, I didn’t want to transfer to a big school, and I wasn’t really sure what I wanted to do for a career. On that trip, I was able to meet the occupational therapy program director at ASU, and the process was so smooth I decided to go for it. I was well prepared for my classes at ASU. My courses at UACCB challenged me to think critically. I learned the study skills at UACCB that I needed to be successful in graduate school.” • Batesville High School graduate • Transferred to Arkansas State University – Jonesboro • Pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy
