We understand that the first year of college can be difficult. The Academic Advising Center was designed to assist college students in the success of their college career and future. The AAC provides services centrally located in the Main Classroom Building easily accessible to all students. Student Success Center Many students visit the Student Success Center each semester. Some may only need the services one time, while others come on a regular basis for one-on-one assistance or to study in groups with their friends. Tutoring services are FREE to all UACCB students and appointments or referrals are not necessary. First-time college students will need to submit the following information to the Admissions Office: 1. An official transcript of high school grades, credits, and date of graduation or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) transcript.* 3. Proof of immunization against measles and rubella.
(Two measles shots, one rubella and one mumps are required
with the first immunization dated one year after date of birth.)
ACT, ASSET, COMPASS or SAT scores that are less than 5 years old meeting a composite score requirement of 15 or higher on the ACT, 63 or higher on the COMPASS reading section, or 36 or higher on the ASSET reading section.
