Exhibition hosted by Carlo Zanella and Enrico Saletti’s atelier . To recover the past involves ethics : recovering ones own history , you retrieve yourself. A promenade back in time that tells about the endurance and the joy of the manual work, the story of a generation , the hope of a citizenry that understands the meaning of resource. An outdoor theater, a collective performance where invisible viewers remember that the true art is the life itself. The inauguration of the exhibition ended with a live music performance outdoors.

The initiative involves the activities historically established as craftsmen’s ateliers, and promotes the development of new artistic activities through the re - opening of currently disused spaces: windows until now hidden behind closed shutters . During the days of the Festival of Architecture of 2015, the Ecoborgo raises the shutters hosting a diffused exhibition: #occupycampidoglio is a collective exhibition where the artists / artisans re-occupy the district with exhibitions, installations, videomapping, objects crafts, illustrations, live painting performance, dance, and more. https://www.behance.net/gallery/32207917/APE-Arti-Per-lEcoborgo
EXHIBIT DESIGN 2015 | management, concept and setup of art exhibition
The Ecoborgo Campidoglio doesn’t only want to value the existing artisanary, but also promote the development of new artistic activities that see the suburb as a fertile ground to express their work. After the reoccupation of the unused spaces through the diffused exposition, the shutters want to remain opened. The areas will be assigned through a facilitated lease to young enterpreneurs that will want to promote activities compatible with the green economy of the ecosuburb and that will be capable to implement the existing commercial and artisan offer.
The relaunch of the local micro-economy is only possible through the creation of a system of collaborating and connected artisans. Aspiring artists and artisans, stay connected.
#lasciaretraccia (#leaveyourmark) is an urban narrative that redefines the town as a “ real-world theater “ made of streets and people we meet every day . The narrative consists of a visual and performative construction that during SMARTRAMS 3 collects voices faces and places of the Campidoglio district of Turin, which is a village in the city : an intimate place , where you could enter softly. The “trace” is symbolized by the round stickers used by the passengers to leave theire trace of passage.
EXHIBIT DESIGN 2015 | concept and setup for the event SMARTRAMS Smartrams is an unconventional art and music container (a tram prepared for the occasion) that runs through the main city streets, discovering neighborhoods and recounting the transformations of the city.
Time, desires and outdoor consumption are the main points of the service that, going “countercurrent”, tempts the users to move among the districts of the city by foot or by bike, discovering new areas and enjoyng the break.

Realization of the logo
and brand identity for the communication and promotion of the “Portici di Torino” project. The composition of the logo starts with the desire to create a recognizable and attractive brand, targeted at the international cultural tourism market in the context of the arcades. The overall, simple and twodimensional form is designed to be easily distinguishable in different contexts and to refer to the concept of “arch”.

Arcosanti is a projected experimental town with a molten bronze bell casting business in central Arizona. Its arcology concept was posited by the Italian-American architect, Paolo Soleri (1919–2013). He began the construction in 1970, to demonstrate how urban conditions could be improved while minimizing the destructive impact on the earth. After partecipating in the 5 weeks workshops I worked on its history and evolution, analysing aspects as communication, didactic approach, and management. Thanks to the direct experience I realised a critical summary about the realization of this amazing uraban laboratory.

“FIND THE OCTOPUS“ ADVERTISING
Statistics show that the number of people living in slums has increased by 30% since 1990, and Millennials are facing a new housing challenge: the inability of affording a house. The solution is starting a new trend in housing. How? By developing projects consisting in small, reliable, customizable and adjustable houses designed for Millennials.
(in collaboration with CEMEX)
HOW MANY MODULES WOULD YOU LIKE ? WHAT TYPE OF WALL?
The houses are designed by architects but are adjustable to personal needs: small, easy to assemble and are made with the CEMEX Value Added Products (VAPs) in the form of pre-fabricated blocks or sections. This form of construction can increase sustainability because of the houses (or parts of it) could be more reused and recycled. They will also need to reach out to software companies that assist on the process of customization and customer interaction.

12. ESSENTIAL night table
ESSENTIAL is a night table made in curved wood with a drawer in aluminium. The main structure is obtained by a single piece of curved poplar, the drawer by a single mold. It is easy to assembly thanks to an aluminium plank that passes through the structure crossing the drawer too. The drawer has a hole in both sides to allow the opening both on the right and on the left side of the bed. Simple and ergonomic.

MOST OF THE INPUT MATERIALS IN PRODUTION BECOME WASTE AT THE END OF THE CYCLE
The current production model is based on procurement on a global scale, on self-identification with the products, on their continuous obsolescence, on perpetual competition and on having little concern about the generated waste products: a string of actions linked to one another that describe a “linear” activity model. The future requires us to adopt a new approach to design and to production processes in order to obtain sustainable products. The Systemic Design methodology works in line with Nature, following Generative Science where in the OUTPUT of a system is the INPUT of another. In other words, it is a question of designing material and energy flows that go from one system into another: striving to reach zero emissions, materializing a new economic and productive model, generating a community that is strongly related and consciously connected to its territory.
Starting from the analysis of a specific geographical area, the focus is on a current linear system coming from a concrete case study of a productive reality. The analysis is on the resources used, the waste generated, the public and private bodies involved in the productive reality and the relationships between each other. These elements are the starting point
brewery production cycle to redefine
the productive process and to obtain an open system where the output generated is input to use as resources for the same or another process.
The result is a general vision which considers all the fluxes that can bring to a significant reduction of the impact on the environment.
