he summer has been memorable for two reasons – the hot weather and the strong rental market, which exploded around April during Easter and continued at a fast pace until the end of July. As I write this in August, I am looking forward to my summer holidays but also the September market plus the usual rush in August for last-minute families and tenants needing to be in by the beginning of September. The buy-to-let finance market has been so much more encouraging and I am looking forward to an influx of new property as the BTL deals complete in the next two months. Companies have been busy this year transferring staff over at all levels.
