Tyler McClure TEL-T206 Reflection Overall I thought this assignment was much easier than I expected. I did hit some rough patches, but overall it was not as challenging and time consuming as I expected. The script was the harder of the two tasks. I never considered script writing to be a strength of mine, but I feel that this turned out ok. It was challenging for me to put into words what I was trying to say in my head. I tried to come up with the most creative dialogue I could, but at times I just could not think of a creative and engaging way to say something. I’m sure tomorrow I will come up with ideas that I wish I had thought of today, but that is writing. The treatment was the least challenging of the two assignments. The ideas kept coming to me, and all I had to do was put it into words. This was challenging at times because I had the picture in my head, but couldn’t find the right words to describe it. I suppose this is a better problem to have than not having the picture in your head. The treatment was easy because I knew what direction I wanted it to go in. The worst part was I would have an idea of what to do in the next scene finish writing the current scene and then forget what my idea was for the next scene. I got the idea to do Wild With Fire based on the 70 sentences assignment. This was one on my list, and actually made a second version of it and then a terrible idea for the third movie which seems to happen these days. The ending of this movie does set it up for the second one to come along perfectly.
