Annual Community Clean Up Day Saturday, June 5, 2010
It’s time to get things cleaned up and hauled off! Join us on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the intersection of Bonnie Brae and Peach Tree. This is a new location one block east from last year’s location. A Bonnie Brae volunteer will be present each hour to answer questions and oversee dumped materials. Remember motor oil, paint, pesticides, herbicides, tires and some other household and lawn chemicals are prohibited. Please take advantage of this great opportunity!

SAVE THE DATE! This year is our 60th Anniversary and we are planning a celebration. In conjunction with our Annual Ice Cream Social, we are having a Block Party. This event is planned for Tuesday, August 3, 2010. This is also National Night Out. We will have events and contests as well as food, fun, and prizes! A Membership Services Committee is forming to help plan this event and others we will being having. If you are interested in being a part of this Committee please contact Kandi Miller at kandimiller@ sbcglobal.net. This event is sure to be a success and your input and support is greatly appreciated.
Covenants Renewal Committee Our Homeowners Association Covenants will soon be up for renewal. We are forming a committee to review and discuss any updates or changes that may need to be made. We are in need of anyone with legal expertise, notary public experience or individuals who may know reliable references. We also need input from homeowners. This will be an ongoing project that will refine our existing covenants and ensure they will be renewed for another 30 years. Decisions made will greatly effect future residents and participation is very important. If you are interested in being involved please contact David Ulrich at email@example.com.
It’s Never Too Late:
If you haven’t paid your annual dues, now is the time! Dues can be mailed or dropped off at Rick and Rona Aguilar’s, 8021 Mockingbird Lane or at the Annual Clean Up Day. Our modest $30 helps cover costs of many ongoing efforts and keeps us prepared for upgrades or repairs.
From the President: Hello! I wanted to tell everyone how much of a privilege it is to be the new Bonnie Brae HOA President and how excited I am about our new board. The board members all have a great energy and drive and truly love living in our wonderful neighborhood. I hope that their energy will be contagious and each of you will be involved in our great upcoming activities. Being Vice-President has given me valuable experience that will aid in continuing projects and issues facing our community. I look forward to the upcoming year and all that we have in store. Sincerely, David Ulrich
