TRUE CRIME SOUTH AFRICA: ‘THE PROGRESS HAS EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS’

Crime podcast created TIYESE JERANJI @jeranji

A

Flamingo Vlei resident recently started a podcast called True Crime South Africa which is the first of its kind in South Africa to bring more attention to solved and unsolved crime cases in the country. Nicole Engelbrecht launched True Crime South Africa just over a month ago and it has exploded in popularity and is gaining momentum each day. She has always been a fan of true crime and she believes that seed was planted when she was indirectly affected by two murders. “My interest started when I was in school, in standard 5 (Grade 7) one of our girls in my class was kidnapped and murdered. At that tender age, it stuck in my mind. When I was in matric, one of the girls was murdered. I knew then that I had to do something,” she says. The mother of four fur babies says that podcasts work successfully overseas to help bring awareness to cases. “There is so much content from the British, Americans and Australians and nothing for us. True Crime South Africa is the first of its kind. Besides an interest in crime, I wanted to be a voice for victims in the country,” she says. She aimed to bring attention to cases, and she podcasts both unsolved and solved cases. “There are a lot of cases that often are missed because they are not given media attention. I have done a case on Amahle Thabethe, an eight-year-old from Duduza in Joburg and Charmaine Maré (16) from Kriel who was also murdered a few weeks before model Reeva Steenkamp,” she said. Steenkamp was shot by her boyfriend Oscar Pistorius on 14

February 2013. “Most people don’t know about these cases and that is why I focus on them,” she says, mentioning that she wants the podcast to serve as a platform to advocate for the victims. The podcast is currently sitting on number 35 on the Spotify charts and at number 21 on Apple podcasts, all up against international podcasts. She is delighted with this progress in a short period despite others saying it would take about two years to get momentum and see the results. Starting with zero experience in the media or digital environment, Engelbrecht says anyone can do it. “If women with no digital experience can do it, so can anybody else, just decide to do it. “The progress has exceeded my expectations. It has been insane and very amazing to see how people really wanted this and it has opened up a lot of discussions.” She adds that when she put out content, people will often be horrified and disgusted but there is a lot of support for the victims. “Above all, solved cases bring closure for people, we like safety, we like to know that the monster is in a cage. I think that is why 90% of the case recommendations I get are solved cases,” she says. Her bigger picture is to have True Crime South Africa become a brand and not just a hobby. “I want to talk at events, have True Crime merchandise. I want the platform to help other small businesses with advertising at a good rate,” she concludes. Homeless benefit from acts of kindness project TARRYN-LEIGH SOLOMONS @tarryns07

A

n additional 18 homeless people can now be accommodated at Elim Nightshelter after staff of WP Media (publishers of People’s Post, City Vision and TygerBurger) put notebooks and pens aside to make emergency waterproof sleeping bags for the shelter. This was part of Media24’s #1000 Acts of Kindness project. The sleeping bags are made with newspaper and plastic, creating a warm, portable and waterproof emergency sleeping bag for those in need. Manager of the shelter Shafiek Ortell says homeless people come knocking at their door every day: “We have a lot of street people coming to the gates of Elim Night Shelter daily. They normally come for a meal and not for accommodation as they prefer to live on the streets due to addictions and couples not wanting to separate. “We have 70 beds and 15 mattresses, therefore, we cater for 85 adults sleeping here daily,” explains Shafiek. Housemother, Liza Ortell, says she is grateful for the efforts of the WP Media team: “We think it’s amazing as we are currently out of mattresses. Now we can at least cater to 18 more homeless people.” Publisher of WP Media Marita Meyer shares why it was important for the team to get involved: “As a local newpaper group, we are part of the communities we serve. We cannot turn a blind eye to the poverty, homelessness and social ills. We strive to assist where we can, albeit by highlighting the issues in our newspapers or, in this case, by getting actively involved in an extremely worthy project.” V Elim Nightshelter will be hosting a fundraiser at The Barnyard Theatre in Bellville on 12 September at 20:00. Tickets cost R160. For bookings and information contact Shafeek Ortell on 061 414 8993 or email elimnightshelter@telkomsa.net.

Security puts brakes on theft T

wo alleged cellphone thieves were stopped in their tracks on Saturday thanks to vigilant security guards at the Killarney International Raceway. The suspects were arrested on Saturday 10 August as they were trying to leave the track late afternoon after the day’s racing of the Killarney’s Women’s Day edition of the Power Series had concluded. TygerBurger’s editor Cecilia Hume was on the scene as security guards of CP Security and officers of the Table View Police Station were searching the suspects’ grey Uno. “It was quite a sight watching the security go through the car,” says Hume. “They were looking under seat covers, lifting carpets, looking for any little tear out of place and loose panels in the car. The phones were hidden so well, you won’t find anything with just a quick search.” Hume explains her husband, Craig, was just one of the racers and patrons targeted at Killarney on Saturday. “One of the suspects had come into his garage to look at his racecar while he was refuelling it between his first race and the lunchtime Fan Walk. Just before that he had checked his lap times on his phone

and placed it on the counter in front of his toolbox in the back of the garage. She says the suspect chatted to him a bit, then went to look at the car of another racing driver that he shares his garage with. “Just before he took the car out to the Fan Walk, he noticed his phone was gone, but at first thought that maybe he moved it because our son’s iPhone was still lying next to the toolbox. He was in rush, so he locked up and headed out,” says Hume. After lunch, he, however, immediately had a proper look, and when realising the phone was gone reported it to the circuit management who sent security to take his statement. “The security guard showed us a photo and Craig recognised the same guy that came into the garage. He then told us they had been trailing this suspect the whole morning, and eventually also his friend that came later, since they were up to no good,” says Hume. She explains they were at the clubhouse waiting for prize-giving to start when Craig was told to head to the motocross gate because they had found his phone. “When we arrived, police were there, along with quite a few security officials who were busy searching the car. Two nabbed for abalone worth R1.2m Partnership policing in the Table View area contributed to stopping two suspects in their tracks on Thursday 8 August. Provincial police spokesper-

son Captain Frederick van Wyk says police officers acted on information they received about abalone that was kept at a house in Raats Street. “Maitland Flying Squad reacted on the information, searched the house and seized 4 600 units of dry abalone and six bags of frozen abalone. They also seized a large chest freezer and pot, gas bottles and equipment used to dry abalone. The abalone with an estimated street value of R1.2 million was confiscated. Two men, aged 31 and 35 were arrested and detained at Table View Police Station,” he says. Van Wyk says once charged the suspects are due to appear in the Cape Town Magistrate’s Court on charges relating to the Living Marine Resources Act, including the illegal possession of Abalone found in Raats Street by police . abalone.

time they had already found at least two phones, but none of those were Craig’s. “When they heard that, the one security guard shouted ‘soek verder’ (search further). They eventually found his phone with its cover on back to front, as well as a few other phones and a key for a Mercedes. Craig’s phone was still on but they had thrown away the sim card. One of the other guys at the scene whose phone was found also said his expensive memory card was missing,” she says. “I’m guessing these guys are pros, just considering the way they had hidden all the phones. I was really impressed by how vigilant the track’s security guards are, and how quickly the two police officers responded at the end of their shift, having to work overtime to take statements.” She adds that when Craig went to give his statement at Table View Police Station that evening, one of the two Constables mentioned that the one suspect was busy confessing. Milnerton police spokesperson Captain Nopaya Madyibi confirms the arrests. “Two people were arrested for being in possession of stolen property and appeared in the Cape Town magistrate’s court on Monday 12 August,” she says.

Table View neighbourhood watch dressed up for a good cause.

Women spoiled by watch TIYESE JERANJI @jeranji Table View Neighbourhood Watch (TVNW) had its annual Women’s Day Patrol and they pulled out all the stops for a good cause. The watch collected over 200 sanitary and hygiene items, underwear and clothing for underprivileged girls and women. They also did a convoy through their neighbourhood, dropped cupcakes at Table View Police Station and got together and supported each other. There were about 46 volunteers who took part in this patrol. TVNW spokesperson Laura Outhet says this has been going on for about five years. This time around they were supporting Little Lambs a non-profit organisation (NPO) which was started after seeing first hand the extreme poverty and suffering that is experienced in a nearby township. “The plight of these girls or women is so dire that in some cases they are unable to attend school because they don’t have sanitary pads or even adequate underwe-

ar – this is truly sad in this day and age,” she said. Outhet said male volunteers also supported them and provided some great entertainment. “We had our TVNW youth crew in attendance as well. Someone provided glitter tattoos and got us all blinged and ready to go. “Someone created 100 beaded angels to hand out to the beautiful women in Table View. Thank you to the main organisers for doing an amazing job on this and thank you to the people who donated – you made a difference. Women standing together and supporting other women is what will change the world,” she said. A very big thank you was also sent to those who took part in the patrol and donated items. “There are many girls and women who don’t have one cent to their name that will benefit from this. “It was truly heartwarming to see those who donate so much and have such generous hearts,” she said. She added that the organisers of the event bent over backwards to make it a huge success,” she said.

Dinner in aid of disabled The Western Cape Association for Persons with Disabilities is presenting its annual fundraising gala event on Wednesday 11 September at D’Aria. The organisation has been providing social services to persons with disabilities for more than a decade. Its services include rendering social development services, skills development programmes, as well as work and employment, and childcare education. Its facilities include 13 special daycare centres for children with severe to profound disabilities up to the age of 18 years, skills development for 19 protective workshops to those aged 18 and over who cannot access the open labour market. The theme of the event is “Masquerade”. Last year the WCAPD raised R76 000 with

their fundraising dinner, and aim to increase this target this year. The guest speaker is Sumarie Jordaan – also a singer, songwriter and motivational speaker. Her song “Verander Jou Siening” was released earlier this year. Entertainment will be provided by the well-known Afrikaans singer, songwriter, guitarist and language lover, Jannie du Toit, who also sings French texts, particularly of Jacques Brel. He mostly performs with his guitar and his brilliant ensemble of cello, piano and accordion. Tickets are R450 per person or R4 500 for a table for 10 guests. Monetary donations towards expenses will be welcomed. V Send an email to director@wcapd.org.za with enquiries.

Jordan Laubscher (14) proudly presented his country several times.

Jordan aims for the stars TIYESE JERANJI @jeranji

P

arklands College learner Jordan Laubscher (14) says the more he achieves while trampolining, the harder he wants to work. He started doing men’s artistic gymnastics at the age of six but found his true passion after starting trampoline gymnastics at the age of seven and things have just spiralled from there. Ever since this Milnerton resident started doing this sport he has qualified to represent his province at the SA Games and won it a few times. Since 2013, he has achieved full provincial colours, an honour that is only bestowed upon gymnasts who not only qualify by score but compete in the highest level their age allows. As such, he currently competes in the junior Olympic category, which follows the strict guidelines stipulated by Fédération Internationale de Gymnastique (FIG) for those athletes whose standard allows them to one day be eligible by for Olympic criteria. He competed in his first international competition in 2016 when he was chosen to represent the country at the Region V competition, where he was placed first. He has attended trials and made this team repeatedly to date. The Grade 9 learner has also been invited by South African Gymnastics Federation (SAGF) to attend the prestigious Top Ten Competition which is only open to the top 10 gymnasts in the country. Last year and again this past July school holiday, he competed at Scalabiscup International Competition in Portugal in the u.16 category.

“The level of competition was intense with almost 700 gymnasts from 24 countries for different age groups,” he says. He was thrilled to be placed 11th for Eurotramp (the Olympic trampoline style) and fifth in the double mini-trampoline category. He admits trampolining is a demanding, yet wonderful sport. “It demands not only athleticism, strength, flexibility and stamina but also discipline, determination and guts.” He says when you venture out of the comfort zone and try and achieve new and tricky manoeuvres it yields higher scores for difficulty. This is essential for competition success at this level. However, it should not be too risky otherwise you might get injured and that could jeopardise long term goals. He currently trains three evenings a week throughout the year (including school holidays) at Eversdal Gymnastics Club in Brackenfell. He says he needs to be very disciplined not only with his training but also with his time management as it takes time to commute from his home in Milnerton to various competitions and squad training. He loves sport and also enjoys the comradery of his team sports (soccer and water polo) at his school. When he is not at school or doing formal training, he is on the trampoline at home or at the beach trying out new moves. With the ongoing support of his coaches, family and friends, he is not only having tremendous fun but is excited as to where this journey could take him, he says.

Ladies breakfast held for home The Durbanville Children’s Home is hosting its very popular ladies breakfast on Saturday 24 August at 09:00 at Marlenique Estate near Simondium. The theme this year is “Denim & Diamonds” – so feel free to wear a denim and to be creative with the rest of your outfit. Well-known TV personality from the show, Tyd met Aleit and event maestro, Aleit Swanepoel, will be the master of ceremony. VIA’s Die Kontrak winner, Demi Lee Moore, will also perform. Each guest will receive a gift and will be eligible for the lucky draw. All funds raised will be used toward

the remedial support programme of the home. “Due to the neglect suffered in their families and studies not being prioritised, our children have a very low level of schooling, having repeated one or two grades,” said Johanna Strauss, marketing manager of the home. “They feel tremendous frustration at not having the skills for their current grade, and fears of rejection and prejudice from the other children. V Book tickets at R400 per person or R4 000 for a table of 10 people by sending an email to events@durbanvillekinderhuis.org.za or phone her on 021 975 6822.

ance United School of Dance in Melkbosstrand is growing routine after routine and leaving their mark on international stages. The school was established in 2012 by Liezl Kunz, who has been teaching dance since 1996. “My passion for dance made me decide to establish Dance United where we offer a variety of dance styles in order to build versatile dancers, meaning to train dancers in as many styles possible to become competitive and good dancers with well overall training in dance. “It also is a greater benefit to any dancer to be trained in different styles, should they ever consider to follow dance as a career, which, nowadays, has become even more popular with more opportunities for dancers,” she says. Talking about her journey, Kunz says: “We’ve been very blessed and only been growing from strength-to-strength – we’ve been competing internationally for the past six years, and it has pushed us to reach the standard we have reached thus far and we keep on striving to improve our dancers to the next level.” Anyone passionate about rhythm, music and, dance aged from four and above can join the dance school. They also offer adult dance-fitness classes at the studio. Some of the dance school members re-

cently returned from Dance World Finals in Croatia. Kunz says: “At the South African qualifiers, you qualified either for A or B League depending on your percentage of the dance routine. We entered 38 routines in different dance styles. About 90% qualified for A League. We won 22 trophies. We were in first place (10 times), second place (six times) and third place (five times) and our hip hop coach won the World Battles.” Kunz is happy about their achievement in Croatia and their results clearly show that their studio work is of a high standard and very competitive Internationally. Helen le Roux, a mother of one of the dancers says their performance in Croatia was truly amazing. “This is a result of the hard work they put in and is a great achievement for us dance moms as we have to take the children to practise and sit in our cars to wait for them. As moms we invest so much energy and time, not just money,” she says. One of the dance members Hannah De Waal says she enjoyed their time in Croatia. “The people were really nice. I’m happy about what we achieved, we really worked hard for it,’’ she says. The Grade 8 learner at Melkbosstrand High School says she enjoys her time at Dance United. “The teachers and the other dancers are really nice friendly and very helpful,” she says. A total of 52 traffic officers at the Gene Louw Traffic College graduated and a ceremony was held at the college in Brackenfell on Thursday 8 August. The new graduates have completed a year-long Further Education and Training Certificate training at the Gene Louw Traffic College, which is accredited as a training service provider by the Safety and Security Education and Training Authority. The new officers will be deployed throughout the province at various Provincial Traffic Centres such as Knysna and Oudts-

hoorn in the East and Vredenburg in the West and 11 officers from local authorities will also embark on their new career at George, Breede Valley, Swartland, Beaufort West and Hantam Municipality in the Northern Cape. Western Cape minister of Transport and Public Works Bonginkosi Madikizela also attended the ceremony. Road safety is one of Madikizela’s strategic focus areas and he is confident that the newly qualified traffic officers will make Western Cape roads safer for all through diligent traffic law enforcement.

LEWENSKIEKIE

As die hoofbroodwinner is finansiële beplanning ’n moet. As jy in ’n verhouding is, moet jy deel hê in jou maat se finansiële beplanning. Hoe betrokke is jy? – Richus Nel (finansiële adviseur by PSG Wealth, Old Oak. E-pos richus.nel@psg.co.za)

Time to find óúr missing billions I found your article on the FBI and Hawks’ collaboration (“FBI tracks down online date scammer in Cape Town”, TygerBurger, 7 August) well-written, with all the relevant facts in place to understand the basics of this crime-busting story. However, the question that immediately sprang to mind was: Why did it take the intervention of the FBI to alert the Hawks in the first place? Surely R4.1 million in the international scheme of things is no big deal. Why would the USA worry to chase down an unknown man half a world away for a measly quarter million dollars? Why did they need the Hawks’ help, when our local lads seem unable to find the missing billions of Rand, or the high-profile thieves? Mind you, the results are impressive. With the (alleged) perpetrator arrested on Friday, in court the following Monday. Nice work Hawks. Now you have perfected the system, please get to it and solve a few local victim’s cases.

omgee in vandag se samelewing. GESTREMDE Boston

Stop hurting our animals, people I read with horror the front cover story “Dogs Dies from stab wounds” (TygerBurger 7 August). What is this country coming to when an innocent animal is not even safe from a brutal attack? It’s horrific the way our innocent people are being raped and murdered daily with no regard for their life. Who are these people we live amongst who can take a defenceless dog and stab it 11 times? I feel for this owner and poor dog who after being stabbed and knocked down still tried to run home. I can only imagine how much untold cruelties against animals go unreported and how much suffering our animals have to endure. This government has no laws protecting our animals as

they are only regarded as “objects” and not sentient beings. Animals feel pain, they have feelings and these “so-called humans” who did this, should pay. I am ashamed to call myself human, animals have more respect for each other than us humans. MIA DAVIS Email

Pavements a waste As a resident of Monte Vista, I am intrigued by the extensive construction of sidewalks in the Monte Vista and Edgemead areas, while many of our roads are in poor condition. In certain places, there are now two sidewalks within 5m of each other. Perhaps someone from the municipality can explain this apparent waste of ratepayers’ money. CONCERNED RATEPAYER Email

Your kids learn from your deeds I’m experiencing a big problem with parking when I pick up my son from school. I sit in front of the school for 35 minutes to ensure I get parking and not inconvenience other parents. But then you get parents that come one minute before the bell and politely park in the road in front of your car. Normally, this would not bother me because they move before my son gets into the car, but when they come walking along on their own time, not looking left or right to apologise for the inconvenience caused and taking their sweet time to get going (first have a chat) while your car is running and wanting to leave – that makes my blood boil. Then they have the cheek to look all shocked and disgusted

when you hoot for them to hurry up and move. Why do they think just because it’s at a school they can take their time and treat you as the wrong one? They are teaching their children not to consider others and it’s okay for people to wait for you irrespective if you in the wrong. No wonder kids have no respect for others these days, they learn from their parents! TESSA DE KOCK Brackenfell

Ek is dankbaar. EUREKA AUSTIN E-pos

College shines at robot olympiad P

arklands College excelled at the 2019 World Robot Olympiad (WRO) Western Cape regional event that took place at the University of the Western Cape on Saturday 3 August. The olympiad was to determine who are the best young robot engineers in the Western Cape. WRO is an annual global robotics event incorporating science, technology, engineering and mathematics (Stem) education; that comprises different categories of participation, including the new WeDo category; the regular elementary; junior and senior; WRO football; explorer elementary and junior open and an advanced robotics category. The overall theme for this year’s competition is “Smart Cities” which focuses on new concepts, new ideas and new technologies that help in building cities of the future. A total of 88 teams of about 200 learners in total spent the last six months designing, building and programming robots to solve the game board for their specific category challenges and Parklands College teams did exceptionally well again this year. Three Grade 3 teams competed in the WeDo category. They completed a real-world challenge where they were required to build and programme a robot which could collect Lego children from their homes on the competition mat and take them to school while avoiding obstacles. Team IE Parklands received a gold award and both VS Par-

klands and PMP Parklands received silver awards. Megamind, RoboVenom and Technicolour competed in the elementary category. Their task was to transport different people to different locations depending on where they needed to go. The three teams won gold, silver and bronze awards respectively. Galaxy Bots, The Boys and I, BeastMode and the Lazy Thinkers participated in the junior high category. Their task was to sort different colour light bulbs and move them to specific areas on the board. BeastMode (Luca Wolvaardt and Ioannis Papadakos) were awarded gold and The Galaxy Bots (Junior Nembudani, Omolemo Nage and Lethabo Nodoba) were awarded silver. Robodog (Mujaahid Salien and Noah Kemp) and The Lego Legacy (Legae Madisha and Imrah Salie) participated in the robo soccer category. Robodogs was placed first and The Lego Legacy placed fourth. The top 18 teams per category countrywide, except for the new WeDo category, will be invited to compete at the WRO national competition at the Rage Expo” in the Dome in Johannesburg on Saturday 28 September. The winners of the regular, WRO football and open categories from the national event will be invited to represent South Africa at the international event in Gyor, Hungary from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 November.

NUUS

Huis Jabes kry huis as geskenk ESMÉ ERASMUS @erasmusesme

V

Plek is beperk, so bespreek sommer dadelik.

Property boost in Welgedacht, Durbanville S

liding property prices are currently boosting buying opportunities in Welgedacht and Durbanville. “Upper-end prices in security estates such as a Kanonberg and Welgedacht have dropped in some instances by up to 25%. This gives buyers even more reason to invest here now,” says Fanie Marais, Seeff licensee for the Welgedacht and Durbanville areas. Marais says the area has become highly sought-after with family buyers looking for a better quality lifestyle and access to excellent schools. The broad selection of property means there’s a wide choice in terms of accommodation and price points on offer, he says. “Whether you want a compact lifestyle, a large family house or the added peace of mind of a security estate, you will find it

here. The value is excellent given that you get more space as houses and plots tend to be bigger with beautiful gardens, room for children to grow, swimming pools and fabulous entertainment areas.” Marais says despite a challenging market, buyers are making the best of it and Seeff has already concluded significant sales in the Welgedacht and Durbanville areas this year. Prices range from around R1.57 million at the Tyger Waterfront to R4.3 million in Loevenstein, R5.495 million in Oude Westhof and R5.75 million in Kanonberg. Further sales range to R4.3 million in Aurora, R6 million and R7 million in Welgedacht and R7.5 million in Ruitershoogte. The highest prices achieved over the last year include R6.5 million in Welgedacht, R7.5 million in Vierlan-

MELKBOSSTRAND

den and R5.2 million in Welgevonden. “Many areas offer higher stock levels to choose from with suburbs such as Pinehurst, Kenridge and the Tyger Waterfront. You can find excellent value in the R1.5 million to R3.5 million range, he says. For rentals, the best areas include Oude Westhof, Van Riebeekshof and the Tyger Waterfront. “The highest rentals achieved include R28 000 per month at Oude Westhof and R45 000 in Welgedacht,” he says. “The upside of the down-market conditions is that it creates excellent opportunities for buyers to invest at price levels well below what it might have been otherwise.” Marais says these suburbs offer an excellent value proposition and are central with easy access to main arterials. Dié spanne is D.F. Malan, HS Bellville, Tygerberg-klub, Stellenberg, Melkbosstrand, HTS Bellville, Mo-

Malan t HS Bellville, HS Tygerberg t Brackenfell, Durbanville t Stellenberg, De Kuilen t Worcester Gimnasium, Monumentpark t Vredenburg. In verlede jaar se o.19A-kragmetings was D.F.

dag is Milnerton t Vishoek, Melkbosstrand t Hottentots-Holland, Fairbairn t Tygerbergklub, The Settlers t Khayelitsha/Nyanga, Edgemead t Fairmont.

Hierdie week se wedstryde is (tuisspan eerste): Vanaand (Woensdag): UWK t Maties; Saterdag: Tygerbergklub t Brackenfell, Valsbaai t UWK, Hamiltons t Noordelikes-Tygerberg, Belhar t Collegians, Goodwood t Busy Bees, Bellville t Young Peoples, Rangers t Kuilsrivier, Hands & Heart t Strand, Blue Stars t Kraaifonrein, Langa t Elsiesrivier. – Sarel Burger

Blue Downs to face stiff competition STEHAN SCHOEMAN The Blue Downs Cricket Club will face a different kettle of fish this coming season after being promoted to the Western Province Cricket Association (WPCA) 1C Division. Since the club was established back in 1993 this was their most successful season yet, winning the 50 over 1st Division D trophy earlier this year. “We have made great strides over the past few years and our hard work and commitment are evident winning the division. It means that we as a club are doing something right apart from getting children involved in sport and to choose cricket instead of crime – which is our objective. Winning is just a bonus to the hard work and discipline we look to equip our players with,” said vice-chairman, Everton Ganger. The club will start their preparation for the new season on 13 August at the Blue Downs Cricket Stadium from 18:00 to 20:00. The players are eager to hit the nets and show that their win was no fluke. Granger said they invite all existing and new members to join and be part of the upcoming season. “We would like to thank everyone for
