ilm Endorsed Award Train the Trainer ‘Stand and Deliver’ is a 3-day course designed to provide those delivering training with the knowledge, tools, and practical experience of training. The course emphasis is on understanding and engaging the audience. Units • Adults as learners • Effective session planning • Practical delivery of training • Realistic evaluation Learning objectives • Develop understanding of the psychology of adult learners • Identify appropriate forms of training delivery • Build a bank of practical tools, tips, and ideas • Understand and assess your training style through the provision of tutorial feedback

ilm Level 3 Award In leadership and Management Ideal for people who have management responsibilities but no formal training, and are serious about developing abilities. It’s particularly suited to practising team leaders seeking to move up to the next level of management, and managers who need to lead people though organisational change, budget cuts or other pressures. Units (min 4 - max 12 credits) • Solving problems and making decisions • Understand how to establish an effective team • Understanding organizing & delegating in the workplace Learning objectives • Gain a range of key management skills • Put new skills into practice in your own role • Build your leadership capabilities • Motivate & engage teams, manage relationships confidently • Develop your leadership skills using your own knowledge, values and motivations.

ilm Level 3 Certificate In Mentoring Designed for people in their first management roles – including team leaders and first-line managers. Get the tools and confidence to coach people as part of your normal working role. Mandatory units (min 13 credits) • Understanding good practice in workplace mentoring • Reflecting on workplace mentoring skills • Undertaking an extended period of mentoring in the workplace (36 hours of supervised mentoring) Learning objectives • Learn about mentoring as a powerful development tool • Understand the role and responsibilities of good mentors • Explore different mentoring models • Put your new skills into practice in your job – carry out supervised mentoring sessions • Analyse, assess, and plan to improve your own mentoring ability

ilm Level 5 Award In Leadership and Management Designed for project managers, department heads, and other practising middle managers. Develop skills and experience, improve performance, and prepare for senior management responsibilities.
