DJ Spotlight

Roland Belmares (Steel Party Kickoff 9/28) by DJ Mark D

Home-grown Texas boy Roland Belmares has been rising to the top of his game and has become one of the most requested DJs on the party circuit today, both domestic and international! He’s also got a number of hit, full-length CDs that you’ve probably uploaded to your iPhone….all something great, that started with an Austin kid, “actually I started in high school. I joined student council just so I could DJ the high school dances. But it wasn’t till I set foot in my first gay club that I really understood what DJing could be” he says, I started making my own mixed tapes (yes…tapes!) for my workouts and for friends. Then my best friend had me submit one to a new club opening in Austin and I was hired as a bar back/backup DJ. But as fate would have it, the night of the grand opening the head DJ got a better offer at his home bar and my bar back days were over before they started.” That club was the Forum back in 1996. A place where Roland was able to spread his wings and take his crowd on a musical journey, all while garnering a steady following of supporters and began building a name for himself. His name carried clout, in town and far beyond the walls of his weekly residence. Since that time, Roland has been called to play for several top events across the US from San Francisco to Miami, including major circuit events like White Party, Winter Party (Miami), Alegria (New York), Joining Hearts (Atlanta) and of

Pg. 8

course the world famous Gay Days (Orlando) headlining the original Reunion Pool parties, Arabian Knights and the weekend’s crown jewel: One Mighty Party! He’s even broken the international barriers to play in Canada, Brazil, Amsterdam, Hong Kong and Bangkok, which is hard to do! When asked about his favorite overseas experiences, he explains “if I had to pick one, it would have to be playing in Bangkok my first time for Song Kran. It was my first time in the country and I wasn’t sure what to expect. The promoters were amazing and took care of almost every detail. They just made me feel so welcome so far away from home. I wasn’t sure what to expect from the crowd, but the guys came out and packed the event! I hadn’t seen the energy from that big of a crowd since the mid-‘90s in the States when Circuit Parties were still mega events. It was one of those moments that just blew me away and reminded me why I fell in love with DJ’ing all over again. I’ve been back twice since and am looking forward to my next event there (hopefully next year).” The incredible impact Roland has made on audiences has certainly

TWIT

secured him a position on the discerning partygoer’s “Hot List” of gay club DJs. Roland has also tried his hand with production work and has had the privilege to work with many of today’s Dance floor Divas including Billie Myers, Pepper Mashay, Pat Hodges, Kristine W, Abigail and Debby Holiday. If you asked him what’s hot in the clubs now, he jokingly says “Madonna’s new single, Turn Up the Radio – Why? It’s Madonna lol.” I’m sure she’s next on the list of remixes for Roland Belmares! Roland will be in Houston for the Steel Party Weekend (Sept 28th-30th) - he’s playing the Friday night kickoff party from 9p-afterhours at the new Eagle Houston. Fun times in store! So when you walk through those doors of Houston’s newest dance club, be sure to come find me….just look under the mirrorball! TWIT

In the Kitchen

Football Finger Food By Blue Jean Granny

H

HEAT oven to 450*F. ello there Boys and Girls,

Starting to feel like Autumn. Kids are back in school, vacations are over and Texans are once more getting excited. Some of us are thinking about seeing the wonderful change in the leaves at Lost Maples State Natural Area, some about the rigors of shopping for the holidays, some about campfires and S’mores, but an overwhelming percent are thinking Football. Now, I know very, very little about the game itself, but I do know a little about tail gate parties and “Come over and watch the game parties”. Such fun with the excitement of the game, good friends, maybe a little competition and great food. I am going to try and help you out with that today. Although some of these recipes are called “Man food” the gals like it also. They are easy to make and no fuss to serve. Some of these dishes have been revamped time and time again and you are most welcome and in fact encouraged to add your own twist to them. If you come up with a good one send it to me, so we can share it with all our readers. You know Kraft Foods have been around for years and years and a lot of these recipes originally came from their kitchens, so when you see their brand name pop up that is why. You are certainly free to use whatever brand you prefer. First off: let’s go with a great finger food called….

Cracked Pepper Zucchini Fries. You will need: 1 egg 1 Tbsp. water 25 TRISCUIT Cracked Pepper & Olive Oil Crackers, finely crushed (about 1 cup) 1 zucchini (about 3/4 lb.), cut into 2x1/4-in wedges 1/2 cup Horseradish Dijon Flavored Mayonnaise

Pg.12

WHISK egg and water in pie plate. Place cracker crumbs in separate pie plate. Dip zucchini wedges, 1 at a time, in egg then in crumbs, turning to evenly coat each wedge. PLACE on foil-covered baking sheet. BAKE 14 min. or until zucchini fries are tender, tuning after 7 min. Heat broiler. Broil fries, 6 inches from heat, 2 min. or until golden brown. Serve with mayonnaise or finely chop 1 small canned chipotle pepper in adobe sauce; mix with 1/2 cup KRAFT Classic Ranch Dressing. Serve with zucchini fries instead of the mayonnaise.

KRAFT Deluxe Mac & Cheeseburger Poppers 32 servings 1 pkg. (14 oz.) KRAFT Deluxe Macaroni & Cheese 1/2 lb. ground beef 48 RITZ Crackers, finely crushed (about 2 cups), divided 1 egg, beaten 4 oz. (1/4 of 16-oz. pkg.) VELVEETA*, cut into 32 cubes Oil for frying 2 Tbsp. ketchup mixed with 1Tbsp. yellow mustard for dipping sauce. Prepare Mac and Cheese in large saucepan as directed on package. Meanwhile, brown meat in skillet; drain well and add to cooked mac and cheese along with, 1 cup of the cracker crumbs and beaten egg; mix well. Cool 20 min. or until cool enough to handle. SHAPE meat mixture into 32 balls, covering the cheese cubes completely. Roll in remaining cracker crumbs until evenly coated. Place in single layer on waxed paper-covered baking sheet. (Waxed paper is just for easy cleanup). HEAT a couple inches oil in deep fryer or heavy skillet to 375*F. Add balls, a few at a time; cook 2

TWIT

min. or until golden brown. Drain well. Mix ketchup and mustard; serve with warm poppers.

2 Tbsp. pimiento strips RITZ Crackers

Hint: Use a small (1-oz.) ice cream scoop to portion the meat mixture for each popper. You can make ahead up to the cooking point. Refrigerate up to 4 hours before cooking.

BEAT first 5 ingredients with mixer until blended. Stir in onions. Refrigerate until firm enough to form into a football shape and cover with the nuts, and add the pimento strips to look like the lacings. Cover with plastic wrap and chill several hours. You will want to take this out of the fridge about 30 minutes before guests arrive for easy serving with crackers. Makes about 30 servings.

How to Bake; Heat oven to 375*F. Prepare poppers as directed but do not cook; place in mini muffin pan cups sprayed with cooking spray. Bake 12 to 14 min. until well browned and cheese is melted. I like doing it this way. You can do something else while they cook. And of course you have to have a cheese ball and crackers, so how about a football cheese ball?

Cheesy Football 2 pkg. (8 oz. each) Cream Cheese, softened 1 pkg. (8 oz.) Shredded Sharp Cheddar Cheese 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese 1/2 cup MIRACLE WHIP Dressing 1/4 tsp. pepper 2 green onions, chopped 1 cup chopped Pecans (or peanuts is good also)

Hint:For a real treat substitute Real Bacon Bits for the nuts. This should get you started. Next week we will continue this with a few more suggestions, including a great Stromboli. Till then work smart, play hard and do take time for a cookie. Guess that is all for today. Enjoy your casserole, work smart, play hard and take time out for a cookie. Performing at Austin Pride Sept 22

op singer Stacey Q burst onto the music scene in 1986 with big hair, big earrings, and an even bigger Top 5 hit single “Two of Hearts”; however, 1986 was not the beginning of her music career and it certainly hasn’t been the end! From Stacey’s work as part of SSQ with their controversial (for the time) video ‘Screaming In My Pillow’ to her other major hit ‘We Connect,’ her musical journey has spanned over 3 decades. Your real name is Stacey Lynn Swain. What does the “Q” in Stacey Q stand for? You don’t know?! Oh my gosh, I thought every Stacey Q fan knew that! Q was the original name of our musical Project in 1981. Jon St. James, my producer, was a big James Bond fan, so we named the project “Q” after the James Bond character. How did you get started in the music industry? I had just come off a two year tour with The Ringling Bros. Circus where I was a show girl and rode the elephants. I had some friends that were recording in a studio who threw a party and that is where I met Jon (St. James) who was getting an eight-track machine. We met and have been joined at the hip from that day on. The first thing I ever did in the music industry was sound-alike radio commercials. I did the Go-Go’s, Joan Jett, and The Motels. It was at that time that I also joined Q. How was the transition from band member Stacey Swain in Q and later SSQ to solo Superstar Stacey Q? Actually, it didn’t change much. I kept the same band and was still learning how to front a band. So really, much didn’t change (behind the scenes). It was just the quick world-wide fame. I don’t think we were ready for that. I know I wasn’t! Any favorite places or memories from touring at the height of the “Two of Hearts” craze? All the overseas stuff was fantastic! I had only been to Europe once before. I also felt really at home in

Korea. Of course America is really beautiful, too! Not to sound corny, but there are so many great places in America. What I truly remember, though, is not the places, it is the people. What other performers have you enjoyed touring with? I really am enjoying all the artists on The Art Laboe Freestyle Explosion Tour (which also features Austin PRIDE 2012 performer Shannon). 25 years ago, everybody on the tour had hits, but we really didn’t get to know each other since I was on the West Coast and most of them were on the East Coast like Debbie Deb, Trinere, and Lisa Lisa. In these last 8 year of the tour we have been able to get to know each other and I have enjoyed that tremendously.

 21

I understand “Weird Al” Yankovic actually wrote a “Two of Hearts” parody song called “Two Pop-Tarts” but it was never released. Have you ever heard the song? Do you think it will ever be released? We were speaking with Al in the beginning and I remember hearing little bits of it. He actually came out and watched the video shoot for ‘Two of Hearts’ and came to the live show. He was a very nice man. At the time, someone else was releasing another version of ‘Two of Hearts’ and that kept him from releasing his parody.

You were not a big fan of your drag name ‘Savannah’. Which drag name would you have preferred? (Laughs) I don’t know! Probably something with profanity in it. Probably something that I cannot say! Although Carmen did a great job as your instructor, if you had the choice of any “RuPaul’s Drag Race” star to teach you the magic of drag, who would it have been? I am a big fan of Carmen, but if i had to pick it would be Shannel who is just a master at makeovers. She is really at the top of the game as far as what drag queens do! Her makeup is just excellent. Morgan McMichaels is great, too. She actually introduced me before a performance at House of Blues. So if I had to pick, it would pick one of them. ‘’Drag U’’ was not your first television appearance. You have also appeared on “Hollywood Squares”, “Mama’s Family”, and “Facts of Life”. Were there any other television shows? I don’t think there were too many others. Just tons and tons of interviews and game shows, both domestically and internationally. Of all the television appearances and cameos you have done, do you have a favorite?

You were recently featured with fellow 80’s pop culture icons Downtown Julie Brown and Jane Wiedlin of the Go-Go’s on “RuPaul’s Drag U”. How did you get accepted into the University? You have to take an exam. I don’t know if you knew that or not, but you take a written exam at home and send in your answers. It was actually a very difficult test! All essay questions that you couldn’t just answer with a simple “Yes” or “No”. That, and a good agent! What was your experience on “Drag U” like? (Laughs) It was very difficult! I don’t know if you know anything about how they shoot the show, but it was two very long, grueling days full of dressup and dance rehearsals. It was really quite difficult and I was pooped afterward--not just exhausted! But I really loved doing the show! I love Jane and Julie. I had not seen them in a really long time! I hadn’t seen Toni Basil or Ru in a long time either! It was really wonderful!

Pg. 22

I do have to say my favorite, and this is probably purely an ego thing, but I liked the second episode I did on “Facts of Life” when George Clooney’s character leaves the show as my Roadie. Your character Cinnamon on ‘Facts of Life’ falls in love and runs away with a fresh-faced George Clooney. Was there any real life romance on the set? Are the two of you still in touch? Now when I watch it, and I don’t do it often, but this last time when I watched the episode, I was like “Oh my gosh, George Clooney has his arm around me! He is looking right at me and he just touched me!” I had no idea he would be such a big star! If you would have had the chance to play one of the other characters on the show (Tootie, Blair, Jo, Natalie, even Mrs. Garrett!), who would you picked and why? You are going to kill me, but I would pick George (George Clooney’s character). Maybe it would have rubbed off and then I would be starring in every major movie ever made!

TWIT

September 21, 2012

Switching gears, what have you been up to lately? The “Color Me Cinnamon” album came out in 2010. It is absolutely great and exactly what the next Stacey Q album would be. I just cannot say enough good things about it! I am still recording a lot, including audio book recording for a company. Right now I am storyboarding a video for a song that I wrote for some of the guys that used to be in my band. Is there any new music you have listened to lately that has piqued your interest? The main one is not new. It’s Metallica’s “When a Blind Man Cries”. They really surprised me and the song, a Deep Purple cover, is really good! You have to go check it out, and this is coming from me, who is not the biggest Metallica fan! I think Dannii Minogue is really good too! She is kinda quirky and different. I like her style. Other than that, it’s the same old: David Bowie, David Bowie, David Bowie. Have you ever performed in Austin before? We are so excited to have you here! I believe I have with a couple of band dates and some small club track dates. In the very beginning, San Antonio, Texas was actually one of the first three radio markets that broke “Two of Hearts” in the USA. Why do you think you have so many avid LGBTQ fans? The first thing that comes to my mind is that artistically, socially, intelligently, gay people are just a higher echelon than the everyday run of the mill person. You are just more cultured and, luckily, I fit in! What are your thoughts on the gay marriage debate? Gay marriage should be obvious. Everybody should have the same right that men and women in America have. It is just absurd that you don’t. Why should you suffer just because you are not heterosexual? Is there any special message you want to send your fans in Austin, who will see you perform at Austin PRIDE 2012? I am really looking forward to it! I love the audiences so much! It really is my favorite part and I am so appreciative that they are all still there. I couldn’t ask for more! I really hope you all get to hear and enjoy the new “Color Me Cinnamon” album. Stacey Q is one of the ten headlining performers at Austin PRIDE 2012’s 21st Anniversary Celebration! She will be sharing the stage with fellow headliners: Peaches, Manila Luzon, Shannon, Chad Michaels, La Bouche, Nicky da B, Willam, Lady Bunny and internet sensation Chloe at Fiesta Gardens on Saturday, September 22nd. Retro Rewind

When the girls originally broke up and went their separate ways, Sporty Spice (aka Melanie Chisholm) recorded a solo album entitled ‘Northern Star’ that sold over 4,000,000 copies.

By JD Arnold

From that album I have chosen this week’s Retro Rewind. I don’t think Melanie C has the greatest voice but ‘I Turn To You’ was a well crafted pop song and when put in the hands of remixer Hex Hector, it was transformed into a gay club anthem. This was released at the height of Hex’s popularity as a remixer and is still one of his finest mixes. This was soon after his Grammy nominated remix of ‘Waiting For Tonight’ by Jennifer Lopez and his numerous remixes for the impeccable Deborah Cox, helping her cross over from RnB to dance music. In other words, Hex Hector was one of the foremost remixer of the divas of the dance-floors at that time. This record clocked in at 138 beats per minute which was considered fast even in the year of its release so it was a track that you had to work up too when using vinyl! It was well worth the journey to get there as the response from the dancefloor was phenomenal. At over 10 minutes long, this remix is epic in its proportions from the subtle intro and gentle builds to its towering peaks, it winds the dancefloor into a frenzy of ecstasy! I loved to watch the response to this peak time track! It was also a great track to mark the transition from peak time to after-hours. The radio edit of Hex’s remix helped catapult Melanie C to her second solo number one single in the UK.

n watching the tribute to the British contribution to popular music at the closing ceremonies of the Olympics, I was reminded of just how popular The Spice Girls really were worldwide. They are the top selling female group of all time, selling over 100 million records, and the most successful British band since the Beatles! Personally I really did not take much notice of them and certainly was not a fan, although I did like David Morales’s remix of ‘Spice Up Your Life’!

Pg. 38

In 2001, Hex Hector won the Grammy for Remixer Of The Year and is still producing the occasional remix and remains a popular DJ. Melanie C has branched out since the Spice Girls days and is currently about to embark on a national arena tour as Mary Magdalene in a new version of the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar. She was also a judge with Andrew Lloyd-Webber and Jason Donovan on the UK TV talent/reality shown that searched for an unknown to play the lead role of Jesus in the same production.

Music for over the last three years since the last studio release, Big Whiskey and the GrooGrux King. There isn’t much in the way of surprises, but that is not such a bad thing, because their fanbase really likes DMB just the way they are . Away from the World is a very introspective album where Matthews spends a lot of time on love and the loss of it. On “Broken Things” we hear “Oh my love, my heart is set on you, set on you.” While on “Belly Belly Nice,” he sings “You can’t get too much love.” Matthews gives us more of a peek on his outlook of love on “Mercy” - “Got to say that love is not a whisper or a weakness. No, love is strong.” He also laments on “If Only” (“If only I could have you/Just the way I want to”) and “Rooftop” (“It’s hard to find the words when you got so far to fall”).

Records RCA R d www.davematthewsband.com By Thomas “DJ Big Daddy” Edmond The name Dave Matthews Band just brings up visions of young college-age males, stomping around full-tilt drunk, dirty and sweaty at some 3-day music festival (hmm, I almost forgot this was a music review not my fantasy..lol) No matter if it is the frat boys that were in college back in the early 2000’s or the frat boys in the year 2012, they all seems to love Dave Matthews Band, or DMB as most fans call them. Every generation has their fave college jam band. The college kids of the 60’s had Grateful Dead, in the 70’s it was The Dobbie Brothers, in the 80’s it was Rush, the 90’s it was Phish and this decade it’s Dave Matthews band. These band are all well known for jamming great live shows.

Love is not the only topic that Matthews addresses, however. On “Mercy”, “Gaucho”, and “The Riff” he also gives people a call to action. He seems to be working through his questions of faith after band member LeRoi Moore’s passing, but he wants us to know that idle faith won’t do the job. The closing song “Drunken Solider” - it is packed with an energy that DMB brings most often on stage. Away From The World is a great album from Dave Matthews Band. Listeners who enjoy the band’s work, especially their first three albums, are sure to love this. Even though the music might harken back to their earlier work, this record finds the band moving forward. Rating B (a must for the die-hard DMB fan and new fan) Thomas “DJ Big Daddy” Edmond operates PrideDJsRadio.com and can be reached at DJBigDaddy@TWITmagazine.com. TWIT

DMB was formed in the early 1990’s gaining a large fan base with constant college tours. Now after 21 years and almost 50 cds released (most of the cd’s are live release) the band is back with a new cd called Away From The World. And it seems to reflect the times that the DMB are living in now. From the opening of the first track, there is no doubt that Away from the World is a Dave Matthews Band album. The signature mix of the classic DMB sound (e.g. violin and guitar) and Matthews’ sexy, manly vocal delivery will give his loyal fans a dose of what they have been looking

Movie Reviews

Joe Gage: Special Reserve David DeCoteau’s 1313 series David DeCoteau is most well known for his stunning work on the late nineties classic “Leather Jacket Love Story.” But long before this more mainstream title was released DeCoteau was a cult classic director or slightly off Horror. DeCoteau’s horror features lots of camp and, more importantly, many hot scantily clad men.

In his newest release, porn legend, Joe Gage teams with Titan to create “Special Reserve.” Starring Titan exclusives David Anthony and Jessy Ares, “Special Reserve” is a slight departure from the normal Joe Gage single movie extravaganza. Gage has perfected what he started in his Joe Gage Sex Files series and, with the help of Titan, has created three self contained Vignettes of the highest quality.

He has returned to his roots with his latest explosion of releases: 13 new horror films the “1313 series”. Starting last year with “Actor Slash Model” the series continued with “Boy Crazies,” “Haunted Frat,” “Nightmare Mansion,” “Giant Killer Bees,” “Cougar Cult,” “Bigfoot Island,” “UFO Invasion,” “Bermuda Triangle,”, “Billy the Kid,” “Hercules Unbound!,” “Night of the Widow,” and the latest and last release, “Frankenqueen.”

Tense stud Jessie Coulter needs to loosen up, his body soon quivering in excitement from the “Full Service” offered by masseur Jessy Ares. “What’s Up, Coach?” asks eager jock Kyle Quinn, who soon finds himself stuffed at both ends by aggressive athletes David Anthony and Race Cooper. “The Interview” finds alpha businessman Jessy Ares taking advantage of late candidate Kyle Quinn, who will do anything to get the job.

The entire 1313 series is a camp horror romp resplendent with DeCoteau’s signature horror fixture of homo-erotic smooth chested young men running for the lives in their boxer shorts. “Frankenqueen” is no exception. Plastic surgeon Victoria Franks is looking for a few test subjects and gets a few young men to agree. Unfortunately, once they get to Dr. Frank’s Malibu mansion everything turns homicidal.

Long time fans of Joe Gage will find something with a different flair but still with the signature masculinity Gage is known to deliver. For people new to Gage, or those who just have not paid attention, “Special Reserve,” is a great place to discover the raw sexuality Joe Gage inspires in the actors he directs. “Special Reserve” is highly recommended.

“Frankenqueen” is stupid, fun, and a great time. It isn’t for anyone who can’t appreciate terrible B grade movies that exist more for their comedic elements and the homage to real horror movies. DeCoteau is masterful at giving us an excuse to watch boys with tight abs in something other than porn.

Gemini May 21 June 20

Your romantic interests are stimulated by individuals who are serious, sincere, and honest. You need a lover whom you can respect and who admires you in return. Your romantic liaisons are well defined, and you expect your partner to cooperate in meeting mutual goals and are crushed if your efforts are unrewarded-mellow out and don’t overdo “desire”. Allow relationships to develop, without putting pressure or presumtion!

Realistic about what you can and cannot expect from relationships, you try not to let imaginary guidelines and fantasies overshadow reality(keyword being “try”). You cover a lot of ground in your life, not so much by being thorough but by being honest and open minded. You are a flirtatious partner, but try to keep both feet on the ground, even though you gravitate to rather unpredictable or unconventional companions. The age of a lover is never a priority, just so long as he or she is “trainable”.

Taurus April 20 May 20 Your views and priorities about what you desire from a relationship are clearly defined from the start. However, if you want the union to thrive, make a special point of understanding whether your partner is getting the same satisfaction. It’s easy for you to overlook the feelings of friends and lovers because your goals are rather rigid. Don’t forget your significant other’s feelings! Even though you always put down your foot, you embrace with both arms.

Cancer June 21 July 22 You’re a perfectionist when it comes to passionate pursuits--cautiously evaluating each nuance as well as suitor. The least complicated the lover, the better for you. You have a specific set of “rules” before getting personal. You are comfy in the role of subtle seducer, rather than being the surprised seductee. You’re not easily overwhelmed by flattery and know the difference between dubious fantasy and what truly flies. Leo July 23 August 22 Leo’s are dreamers and enjoy kaleidoscopic day--as well as night dreaming. Love represents sustenance to you, and for you to live without it is to wilt and die. You are a generous lover and enjoy showering your partner with gifts and attention. However, this can become quite expensive if you’re not careful, so it’s a good idea to link up with a more thrifty partner who will keep watch over your extravagances and the bankbook.

Virgo August 23 September 22 You are deeply passionate, driven people. Your adventurous spirit makes you a bit impatient with lovers who function at relaxed, slower speeds. Although reliable and always true to your word, you do things at a fast and determined pace, and you’re inclined to overlook important details about your partner or relationship. Lovers quickly understand your effervescent energy, but also may get put off by what appears to them as reckless or being too full of yourself. Make time to clear the air immediately whenever confusion appears. Libra September 23 October 22 You enjoy emotionally demonstrative lovers, “ordinary” or “laid back” ones bore you quickly. You don’t demand that partners pay attention to you every waking moment, and you don’t let anybody do the ho hum thing to you either. Possessiveness and jealousy drive you nuts. You have very little tolerance for strong, silent lovers who hold back their feelings, and who are unsocial or close minded. Scorpio October 23 November 21 It’s easy for you to get swept away by flirtation or fantasy, because you live for the moment or the future instead of right now, and tend to overlook obligations and responsibilities. Because you’re always in a rush to get happy, it’s a good idea for you to take more time during courtship, and constantly redefine relationships. Although you give the impression that you’re strong and independent, your skin is thinner than others would believe. Sagittarius November 22 December 21 Because you express your feelings freely, often and honestly, you’re best suited for lovers who relate in kind. You are happiest with active, self motivated partners who initiate action or

Pg. 54

stimulate change in your relationship, rather than only wait or merely participate. Fly by night affairs hold little interest to you because you appreciate constancy. You are hopeful yet realistic, eager but serious, plus assertive and compassionate. Capricorn December 22 January 19 An unpredictable or erratic partner doesn’t satisfy your romantic game plan. Tenacious in your desires, once you set your sights on someone, you don’t give up--even if you have to wait for years! Capricorns influences makes you perfectly willing to let others make the initial move, but once you commit you’re in it for the long run. You anger quickly, but cool off just as fast and don’t hold a grudge. You contain emotional frustration and keep on plugging to make relationships work. Aquarius January 20 February 18 You enjoy doing favors for those you admire. You believe that love is a kind of service, and the more you do for someone you like, the better you feel. You treat people you like very well, and are willing to share everything you have. You are very loyal to your lover and friends, and always treat them fairly. Honor and integrity are important to you, and you expect the same treatment from lovers. Pisces February 19 March 20 Although you have a rich fantasy mind, you’re a devoted partner and are uncomfortable playing the field. There’s a “someone” for everybody, you feel. You’re not inclined to settle for second best, but not always on top of knowing what’s real, hot or true. Ask the opinions of friends, elders, teachers. You have a tendency to latch on to a lover quickly and without thinking. Seek the advice of those you respect before going exclusive.
