#response “Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is JUST...” WHATEVER is just... Justice can come in unexpected packages, but Paul exhorts the Philippians and us to think on justice no matter what form it comes in. Furthermore, Amos 5:24 declares, “Let justice roll down like waters”--not democracy, not capitalism, not job creation, left-wing or right-wing politics, but justice! Like an unceasing, unstoppable waterfall, with great power and might, as it is charged with the omnipotence of God. It is not of our own creativity or devising, but it is of God. Think about it; pray about it; be about it. by: @MissyG678

“We should make our promises to the Lord, not because of the year and then keep them - Problem resolved #newYearsResolution by: @journeywithajx

#response “Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Let those of us who are mature think this way, and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal that also to you - (Philippians 3:12-15 ESV). Each new year presents an opportunity to measure benchmarks and set new goals. If Christ remains the central motivation behind all that we do, then it follows that all of our resolutions are to reflect Jesus, thus making them worthy of pursuit. by: @journeywithajx
