Fractal Ecology I propose a balance between the functions, users and production/ consumption of the project. To be Self Sufficient, the project must generate profits to the developers. The functions of the project will generate a result, wich could be a consumption or a production, each one is developed in a defined space with defined qualities and defined users and actions. The balance between the who, where and the action of them will generate a stable social and economical equity in the project. This stragety will be applied also for the energy generation/ consuption, dividing the project in production and consumption areas, establishing a Self Sufficient energy criteria.

Interface Model The applied strategy will be like anthropocentrism, but the focus will be in the community: communitycentrism. The main objective is to make the community the core of the project. Making the community the responsable of they own life quality dividing them with different functions and uses. The community as a unit will be composed by three different components: - people - function - process These 3 components will have particular participation in different production and consumption issues, generating the balance and the closed loop between energy/ waste, production/ consumption, commerce and transportation.

Material Diagram Generally, the project will be divided in four different structures, that will requiere different materials regarding on each requirement.

For develop the project in order toget more LEED certification points it will be crucial to analyse and design good strategies in Energy & Atmosphere. As the project is located in a predefined site, there is not much to do, but in this case, the site meets with 22 of the 26 points in this topic. In this case, 14 points of the Material & Resources are not earned because there is not much to do with the recicled materials, but, during the development of the project, this topic should be improved. Comments For the development of the project it is important to define the materials and resources in order to get more points, also, for this and other projects, it is imporant to control the construction process of the building.
