Medical Coding Certification Training This online program leverages technology to provide classes through our virtual classroom and provides students with the flexibility they need along with support from the instructor. These classes encapsulate the latest information related to office-based medical coding and are taught by professional instructors. Students may choose to pursue the CPC certification upon successful completion of this program. A student may take the CPC exam prior to work experience; however he/she will receive the designation of “apprentice” until appropriate work experience documentation is provided. A mandatory face-to-face orientation is held the first night at the Peoria campus. Reliable computer and internet access and basic computer skills are required.
