ServSafe® Manager Refresher

Tulsa Tech and Blue Label Bartending School have partnered to train aspiring bartenders how to freepour over one hundred drinks. You will learn the history, brands and distilling process for liquors and cordials and proper etiquette for handling beer, wine and champagne. You will cover liquor laws and liability, customer service, servicing private parties and more. Those who wish to bartend in Oklahoma will need to apply with the ABLE Commission to obtain an Oklahoma Liquor License. You schedule your class with Blue Label Bartending School; you schedule 1 week Monday thru Thursday 8A-5P or 2 week time is 8A-12P. Tuition: $700 Hours: 32

A S S OCI AT ION OF NU T RI T ION & FOODSERVICE PROFESSIONALS (ANFP) (CERTIFIED DIETARY MANAGER) Foodservice Management Expand your knowledge on sanitation procedures in food preparation areas and how to prevent foodborne illnesses, including pest control, and the Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HAACP) system. Areas of food procurement, preparation, service, menu planning and recipes are addressed, as well as, learning to control costs in food production and the importance of equipment use and maintenance. As part of the program requirements, field experience in the workplace must be supervised by a Registered Dietitian (RD) and documented by the student to demonstrate competencies. The textbook is required and must be purchased online from the Association of Nutrition and Foodservice Professionals (ANFP) before the start of class. Required training criteria for Armed Security and/ or Armed Private Investigator Licensing. Instruction includes: weapon nomenclature and inspection, shooting fundamentals, and safety per CLEET standards. Training will include 12 hours of classroom learning and 20 hours of on-range instruction and qualifying exercises. Successful completers will have 100% attendance, score 85% or better on written tests and pass all CLEET qualifications on-range, and pass the CLEET Phase IV testing to be eligible for making application for licensing.
