T

he Peninsula is brimming with entrepreneurial and innovative ideas, and an appetite for greater collaboration; and an energetic and enthusiastic group of Young Professionals are leading the charge. The Virginia Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, as the central voice of the business community, is helping to facilitate relationships that will enhance opportunities for collaboration and advancement. The Chamber has become a hub for current and emerging leaders alike as a venue to share knowledge, meet new business partners and influence decisions. It provides opportunities for Young Professionals to develop professionally and meet and learn from top decision makers in our region. The VPCC serves as a conduit for connection to leaders across the Peninsula, including military leaders, business leaders, legislators and civic officials and educators. Young professionals in their 20s and 30s make up a significant portion of today’s workforce. On the Peninsula, Young Professionals will serve to bridge the gap between the experience and technological adaptability necessary for companies to thrive in a global economy, and to propel them to success in the future.
