Communication

Certificates of origin

The weekly eNews is the primary resource for the latest event listings, Business Member News and advocacy updates. The Chamber posts the latest information regarding events, networking and other business information on our website, Facebook and Twitter.

The Chamber has business covered when documents need to be sealed and approved for overseas commerce.

Publications The Chamber’s official annual full-color member directory and community guide has 10,000 printed editions distributed to businesses, community centers, libraries and hotels in Palo Alto throughout the year. The magazine is also available online. The Chamber produces the Palo Alto Map bi-annually to showcase the restaurants and businesses in Palo Alto. Members can take advantage of low-cost advertising in both publications.

Marketing opportunities As the Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center, the Chamber has the ability to help showcase your business, assist with your marketing needs and customize a marketing strategy. We gladly accept business cards, flyers and postcards to help showcase your business at the Visitors Center. The Visitors Center is open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, and closed Fridays during the summer.

Tall Tree Awards The Tall Tree Awards are given to individuals and organizations that have shown exceptional civic contributions and service to the community. The event is sponsored by the Palo Alto Chamber of Commerce and the Palo Alto Weekly. Nominations are submitted by the general public once a year and awarded in four categories: Outstanding Professional Business Person, Outstanding Citizen Volunteer, Outstanding Business and Outstanding Nonprofit. The selection committee panel is an independent group consisting of past winners.

ATHENA Awards The ATHENA Award Program recognizes and honors the achievements of outstanding professional and business women. It celebrates individuals who strive toward the highest level of accomplishment: women who excel in their chosen field but who also open paths so that others may follow. In additional to the ATHENA Award, an additional award, the ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award is granted to a woman who demonstrates excellence, creativity and initiative in her business or profession. ➝
