COMMUNION at SECOND BAPTIST This morning we will celebrate communion by intinction. During the service, you will be invited to exit your pew to the right, walk to one of the stations, take a piece of bread, dip it into the cup, then return to the left. Communion is open to all who profess Jesus Christ as Savior. Our Communion Bread is always gluten-free. _________________________________ WE LOVE CHILDREN! Your entire family is welcome here! Children’s worship bags filled with books and activities are available at the Sanctuary entrances. If you’d like an alternative for your children, childcare for birth through Pre-K is available on Level 2 at any point in the service. WORSHIP LEADERS TODAY Teresa Anderson is married to Matt and works in healthcare information technology. She and Matt share their home with their cat, Gus. Christy Edwards is married to Senior Pastor Jason Edwards and is mother to Jackson, Luke, and Norah. She is currently working as a Chaplain Intern in the Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) program at St. Luke’s Hospital in Kansas City. Christy is involved in the women’s ministry, 2BC community groups, and MOPS. Charlie Hughes and wife, Loretta, have been members of 2BC since 1980. He is semi-retired from Liberty Hospital. He is active on the Missions Support Committee at Second. Pam Pratt and Andy have been members at 2BC since 2002. Pam is Chaplain for the Liberty Hospital Hospice and Palliative Care Program. The Pratts have two daughters, Lydia Bunch and Abby Pratt, and one grandson, Gideon Bunch. Steve Ritter and Tammy have two sons and three grandchildren. Steve is retired from GE Energy. The Ritters have been members of Second since l989. Emma Robinson is the daughter of Jared and Lynn Robinson and is a second grader at Manor Hill Elementary. Gary Smith joined Second in 1995. He and Debra have three children: Amanda, Matthew and Emily. He has worked in the telecommunications industry for 25 years. He previously taught Middle School Sunday School and was a part of the 2BC radio ministry for 11 years.
