Slide Projection During Summer Services—This summer, beginning Sunday, June 26, we will be projecting the lyrics for songs in our morning worship services. This will be in addition to our worship guides, which will continue to be printed containing music notes and the liturgy. Questions? Contact Kirsten Boyd kboyd@trurochurch.org. Pianists Needed!—Worship & Arts is looking for pianists of all ages and abilities to provide background music for the dinner portion of “Fiddler on the Roof” this summer. Timeslots are available on Friday July 22, Saturday July 23 and Sunday July 24. Informal auditions may be requested. Contact Kirsten Boyd if you are interested, Kboyd@trurochurch.org. Summer Choir—Sundays, June 26–September 4. Calling all musically inclined youth and adults who would like to try singing in the Parish Choir! Summer Choir is open to folks who are not able to attend our usual mid-week rehearsal, with no obligation to commit to the choir season in the fall. Simply come to the choir room 50 minutes before the 8:00 am and/or 10:30 am. Sunday services to collect a robe and music, rehearse the morning’s music with the choir, and help lead the service. A summer-long commitment is not necessary; join us once, occasionally, or regularly at any time during the summer! Summer Choir begins in June 26, with the start of the summer service schedule (8:00 am and 10:30 am morning services).

CSM Golf Reception July 6—Come to the CSM reception for prospective fall marathon golfers on Wednesday, July 6, at Fairfax Army Navy Country Club at 6:30 p.m. Enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres and learn more about CSM’s annual Golf Marathon on Friday, September 9. The Monday Men meet at 6:30 am for Bible study, fellowship and a time of prayer—we meet at 6:30 am until about 7:30 am in the I C M building—this group has met for over ten years and is comprised of about 8 to 12 men who meet every Monday morning. The group is composed of fellows of various ages. Some need to depart for work at about 7:30 am and a few retired fellows who may remain a few minutes longer. The Bible study for the summer is JAMES. We start this study of James on June 27 and invite any men, Truro members or otherwise...coffee is provided—bring your Bible and start the week with a few other good men. what about children, teens, young adults, and families? Our KidZone Team wears green shirts and will help find the right place for your child. Nursery: Nursery available on Sundays during 8:30 & 11:15 am worship for ages 3 and younger. Childcare: Childcare is available on Sundays during 5:00 pm worship for ages 5 and under. Nursing/Cry Room: For nursing moms and upset infants/toddlers, located in the “Fellowship Room” off the Undercroft beneath the sanctuary. Pre-K to Grade 6: WEE and WOW Worship at both the 8:30 and 11:15 services. From 10–11 am on Sundays we have Elementary Sunday School, and Special Forces for special needs children. PLEASE NOTE: Sunday the 19th is the last day for regular WEE/WOW and Sunday School classes. The summer programs begin on 7/3. Sunday School will be from 9:30–10:30 am (pre-k through 3rd grades in the Chapel on the 1st floor. 4th-6th grades in the Conference Room, 2nd floor. WEE/WOW are at the 10:30 am service only. Special Needs Sunday School: 10–11 am in Transept C. Teens: Join us for ReAwakenings at 10am. Also join us for Youth in the Park on Wednesdays, 4:30-6:30, beginning July 6th at Van Dyck Park. Young Adults: We meet Tuesday nights for dinner and fellowship from 6:45–9 pm (Gunnell House Parlor). Anyone and everyone from late teens to mid thirties is welcome to join!
