pagan Greco-Roman culture. The early Christians asked many of the same questions we ask today about God, Jesus, and humanity, about how to read the Scriptures and how to live rightly. Their answers in the light of Christ and the power of his Spirit have the freshness of first love about them. They can profit us today with ideas and practices for practical living as faithful and fruitful followers of Jesus in our complex, multiethnic and highly secular modern world (some say postmodern).

Format: A shared Wednesday evening meal and worship in the Undercroft together with the participants in the St. Paul’s DVD course, after which the participants go to their separate courses, the St. Paul’s one in the Undercroft and the “Face of God” one in the Art Gallery. The courses will run for 10 weeks, Feb. 2 through March 13, with a break for Ash Wednesday March 9.
