With this edition, a few changes. The thing is, you see, we love to hold a good book. Just like we love the feeling of our trusted leather, the smell of the garage, the sound of the exhausts, the light through our lens. We started this adventure like a good ride, not knowing where the wind would take us and it seems that many joined us along the way. So here is to a new turn, we have decided to print Stay True, to materialize it into the real world. This is a major step and as we are still completely independent and self financed, the printed edition will only survive if it meets enough motorcycle and photography enthusiasts who relate to what we share. We have also decided to leave our former name «True Biker Spirit» and change it to «Stay True Production», the name changes, the spirit stays. Our content remains 100% original, if you are holding the printed version, you make it possible, thank you. Stay True.

On the way back from the Black sea, Seb had planned to ride the famous Transfagarasan in Romania, full throttle. But confronted to the beauty of this ribbon snaking in the mountains, he decided to take his time and virtually stopped at every perfect curve, immortalizing the exquisiteness of this road and the nature which proudly dominates it. The Transfăgărășan or DN7C is the second-highest paved road in Romania. Also known as Ceaușescu’s Folly,[1] it was built as a strategic military route, the 90 km of twists and turns run north to south across the tallest sections of the Southern Carpathians, between the highest peak in the country, Moldoveanu, and the second highest, Negoiu. The road connects the historic regions of Transylvania and Wallachia, and the cities of Sibiu and Pitești. - Wikipedia.

The Triton Track Days are by no means a race and the organisers dont want to hear about competition or timings. It is a meeting for the sheer fun of it, gathering pre-1985 classic motorcycles. The atmosphere is everything you could expect from a wild bunch of no nonsense bikers : good friends, barbecues, beers (we are in the north), ongoing motorcycle discussions and a lot of MacGyveresque expertise. We can only wish that there would be a whole lot more of these events. The Triton Track Days are organised by: www.lesamisdelamoto.fr www.triton-france.com

69 GJCook, Chef at home In 2007 a bad motorcycle accident almost took his legs and his life, putting an end to a promising Chef’s career in restaurants. Jeremy didn’t give up though and took this as an opportunity for a fresh start, to push things forward, go further and take his art to another level. In 2008 Jeremy Girvan launched GJcook in order to share his passion for the good food through cooking classes and Chef services at home. His cuisine is precise and refined, developing balanced flavors. It is influenced by his life, encounters, travels and the architecture for its staging. For Jeremy, the cuisine is above all a story full of taste. He is always seeking the richness of simplicity, compliance with the original flavors and products, by going through a lot of discrete work and cultivating the art of sharing. Today he rides a veggie racer 1978 Honda CX 500, finding his inspiration on the backcountry roads, leaving the past behind and smiling at his destiny. www.gjcook.be

Marcus is not your regular biker. He finds it more thrilling to spend hours and hours in the pale light of his tiny garage, designing exciting bikes rather than leaving wife and kids for a Sunday ride with friends. And Marcus is pretty lucky as he lives in Sweden where winter lasts almost 6 months, leaving him plenty of time to spend in the garage, engineering, building and reworking unique motorcycles. As you can see from these pictures, Marcus Carlsson aka Marcus Moto Design, does not hesitate to bend the rules on how to design his unique concept bikes. As he likes to state, “every concept is a one-off motorcycle and will never be duplicated. If you love Marcus Moto Design’s bikes, then you might be lucky, the V1000 & F1 Tracker are for sale. www.marcusmotodesign.com

GREAT photos are made from the inside. No matter the subject, you need to be right in there, not just among the crowds but part of the scene. From the smoke and seeming chaos of burnout competitions to the strictly regulated world of the speed trials held on the vast expanses of shimmering salt in Bonneville, USA, and Lake Gairdner in South Australia, Simon Davidson is part of the scene. Simon was born in New Zealand and still cheers passionately for the All Blacks but calls Sydney, Australia home with his wife and daughter. When not shooting advertising assignments or the fast, loud and greasy world of muscle car subculture, Simon can be found floating in the ocean searching for the perfect wave.
