Brent is a native of Los Angeles and he began learning the piano at the age of six. He was appointed music director at his church during his mid-teens. Jones has #1 Gospel CD, and he has literally taking the Billboards by storm. It's commendable that he writes his own music for himself and other artists.

Jones had a concert at Performing Arts Center in Ormond Beach, Florida., and my best friend, Farris Robinson and I were blessed to attend. Brent Jones is very passionate about singing, teaching and loving God's People.

He conveyed this repeatedly to his audience throughout the night, and it was remarkable to experience this first-hand from the beginning to the end of the concert. Jones' collaboration of songs were well written and he meticiously went through all of his songs with Historic New Bethel A.M.E. Choir. The proficiency displayed between Brent Jones, New Bethel, and the concert attendees turned out to be overwhelmingly great.

Theresa: We are going to have Chef Count tell us about himself?

Chef Count Foreman: I am from Queens, New York and I was born in the Bronx, New York. My family is originally from Alabama and Pensacola, Florida. That's when we decided to move back to Florida, and I started working in prestigious restaurants like Cheesecake Factory and Planet Hollywood. Jessica and I moved to Orlando, Florida in 2001, and I began working at Planet Hollywood.

Theresa: How did you like working for Planet Hollywood and Cheesecake Factory?

Chef Count Foreman: During that time, Planet Hollywood was notated for being one of the busiest restaurants in the world. That's where I received my notoriety for being a quick learner, fast cook, cleanliness and working efficiently. For example, my trainer was able to complete his training with me within a couple of hours, and he was able to leave for the rest of the day. This was impressive to the chefs, because I could sufficiently demonstrate everything on my own.

I was enlightened with Sauté training through Cheesecake Factory. There training was very intense, and that's where I first experienced dealing with Sauté. I was impressed with the many things you could develop from scratch, and how most of their products had 18 different ingredients. Cheesecake Factory started in the basement of their home in California. This was impressive to me because of their humble beginning. Working these companies help me to embrace my purpose and further developed what I love.

Theresa: There's a quote that says, "From Humble Beginnings Come Great Things."

It's amazing Chef Count and Jessica because what you've learnt prepared the two of you, and your sons, Kount Angel and Jesshuan for your own business, Sauté Kingz.

Theresa: Chef Count, when did you envision doing this for yourself?

Chef Count Foreman: Fortunately, I've always enjoyed cooking, and my mother had me in the kitchen between the ages of 8 - 9 years old. That was an advantage for me, because I had no problem at all picking up jobs. My mother did a lot of cooking around the house, and I would often assist her in the kitchen. She made famous recipes; for example, Stuff Blue Fish and the fish was approximately 22 feet. My mother would put a special stuffing inside the fish. Most of time, when I got home from school nobody was there so I had to cook for myself. This created my independence, and became my starting point with developing my love and creativity for food.

Theresa: How did you initially start your business?

Jessica Foreman: We had humble beginnings, because we began on "the Avenue" in Daytona Beach, Florida. Several truck vendors would setup on the Avenue, and they would have Barbecue, Fried Fish and Ribs. We absolutely loved eating those dishes, but our goal was to differentiate ourselves from our competitors.

When we first started, we had a pop-up tent station, and we worked on weekends and holidays.

It was imperative to increase our clientele, while remaining uncompromising to reducing the quality, professionalism and incorporating diversified dishes.

Our willingness to diversify the foods at SautĂŠ Kingz helps to maintain its authenticity to this date.

Theresa: How long have you worked with the youth?

Chef Count Foreman: We have been working with the youth since 2008 - 2009, and we originally started between Second Avenue and Keech Street. The children actually got off the school bus in front of the projects, and they noticed me cooking and they would ask for something. I would tell them, "Nothing is free and you can pick up some paper or trash, and once they showed their willingness to do the dirty work and willingness to learn we would provide work for them to do." I would pay them and have them do dishes and then we began teaching them different things within the business.

We would teach the youth a level of independence through food, and by them becoming independent they could cook for themselves. The youth could also use these skills to further develop their career paths. In the beginning, we would work with 5 to 6 children at one time and then it grew to 30 children. We dealt with boys and girls, but my preference and passion is working with the young men. Of course, I am not their father, but I am somebody that cares about them. I am passionate about being instrumental toward their present and future goals, and when that happens my mission is accomplished. We don't charge the youth anything, because this is something we do to give back to our community.

Jessica Foreman: When we started Street Vending, the children on the Avenue noticed our children participating, Kount Angel was 8 years and Jesshuan was 5 years old. We started training both of them in the business at a very early age; therefore, they have always been a part of the business. The younger children observed our children taking orders, bringing plates to people, helping to setup the tent. Our children have been there to assist in whatever capacity necessary to complete everything successfully.

Theresa: Chef Count & Jessica, what made the two of you decide to participate in different competitions?

Chef Count Foreman: Jessica and the boys were saying, "Dad, you have to compete in these competitions." My family pushed me to become part of the competitions.

Jessica Foreman: I have to admit I signed my husband up for several competitions, because I'm a competitive person. My children grew up watching the original television show called, "Iron Chef", since the age of two. I started looking into the different competitions available, and some were for money and others weren't for money. I felt Sauté King should participate to find out where we ranked against other businesses.

Our first competition was with King of the Grill, which was sponsored by Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce in Ormond Beach, Florida. Fortunately, we won the First Place Judges Choice competition and we were going against well-known restaurants and various resorts. We were going against The Grind, The Plaza Resort, Crabby Chris, Lulu's, Riptides

and The Food Stand, and they're established businesses. We have won the following competitions: 1st Place Judges Choice, 2017 - 1st Place with The People's Choice and 1st Place Judges Choice.

Chef Count Foreman: Jessica's nickname is "PromoMommy," because she is proactive toward finding different events. She is phenomenal with planning events, and she doesn't hesitate to reach out to people or businesses. She spends an enormous time making sure our business license is up to date, Our strengths compliment each other, and that's what makes SautĂŠ King successful.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

It’s not easy for God’s people to detect and cast out demons nowadays and that’s because most churches haven’t taught their disciples how to recognize them or exert power over them. Because Satan has no new tactics, we simply must recognize his devices so that we can identify him and his “staff” at work.

Due to a lack of knowledge, many born again believers have been ignorant in the area of spiritual warfare. Very rarely do they recognize when they are under attack, or do they know how to respond when they do recognize an attack. This is due to the fact that their attention has been more on the material things than on the spiritual world.

What's disappointing is that many believers don't even care to talk about Satan or the fact that he is "killing, stealing and destroying" right there in our churches. And when we fail to expose him for who he is and apply the word of God to defeat him, he will take charge and have full rein.

We have no excuse for not seeking to know the word of God concerning this matter. It is the knowledge of God's word that prevents Satan from using his devices to entangle us over and over again.

Paul wrote: "Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, entangled again with the yoke of bondage." (Galatians 5:1)

We must invite discipline back into our daily living. Solomon taught: "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction." (Proverbs 1:7)

"And with all they getting get understanding." (Proverbs 4:7)

As believers, we cannot afford to be fools who lack understanding. We must set aside time with God for worship and praise, allowing time to read and meditate on His Word. With this, we can put on the whole armor of God when the enemy comes to attack. We must develop an impregnable relationship with Christ through prayer and fasting, and we must continue in fellowship with other believers in the household of faith.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE We must be absolutely certain that we have a purpose and destiny, but that purpose and destiny will not be fulfilled unless we keep our minds renewed daily in Christ and walk in the newness of life.

And we must obey Paul's admonition: "Forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 3:13-14)

Through the Spirit, God will begin to reveal His truths to us. He will perfect us and stir up the gift that lies dormant within us. Then God's promise will be fulfilled:Â "When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)

Gospel Rapper for Jesus Christ Theresa: Can you tell us a little about yourself?

Royal P: I am known as Royal P, but my real name is Johnny Richardson. I'm originally from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and I attended Bethune - Cookman University in Daytona, Beach, Florida.

I graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration.

Theresa: Could your take us through your journey to becoming a Gospel rapper for Jesus Christ?

Royal P: My name Royal P comes from (1 Peter 2:9) and it says, "But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light: When I started off I was a Mime dancer and then I transitioned into being a Gospel Rapper. I continue to do both, exercising my gift in both areas.

Wherever God leads me, I will go.

Theresa: What made you decide to remain faithful to the Gospel of Jesus Christ? I am asking you this question, because at the age of 25, you could've been out there concentrating on circular rapping instead of Christian Rapping. Royal P: I've been through a lot as a young man, but I always knew that I was different. I give enormous credit to my grandmother, Grandma Lorriane, because she was a praying grandmother. I found myself in situations that I shouldn't have encountered, but through God and my grandmother's prayers I made it.

Royal P Theresa: Royal P, I am grateful that you are using your gifts to give God the Glory.

I actually met you in Daytona Beach, Florida at Bishop Marvin Sapp's Concert. Have you shared your Gospel Rapping or Mime Dance at other concerts or events?

Royal P: Yes, I had opportunities to Mime Dance for Canton Jones, T-Dog (Local Rapper, Down South) and through him, I met Uncle Reece, and he sings "Until I Pass Out." Theresa: When did you come to the conclusion, I enjoy the Mime Ministry, but I know God has so much more in store for me?

Royal P: I remember in elementary school having the opportunity to present Christian rap in front of my church, and it was an awesome experience but I didn't think twice about being a rapper. However, I remained consistent to my writing music.

Moving forward, When I was in middle school attending a friend's church in Hallandale, Florida. Someone prophesized that I would become a rapper, but I didn't take it seriously.

I was going through a lot and I lost my passion for the mime ministry, and I began asking God to show me my purpose in life.

I asked God to give me another power line for His glory. I met a friend named Smoove, and we started going to the studio together. That's when my fire was rekindled, and Jesus gave me a burning desire to have a full-fledged commitment to the calling over my life. I started taking my Christian hip hop seriously about a year ago, and that's when Christ shifted my rapping to “a whole ’nother level.”

Theresa: Who would you like to give thanks for standing by your side?
