B iographies

The Triton College Alumni Association fosters lifelong relationships with alumni and Triton College through programs and initiatives that both serve Triton’s graduates and engage them in the future success of the college and its current students. Members of the Alumni Association are advocates and ambassadors in fulfilling the college’s mission of lifelong learning and student success. The Alumni Association is led by a council of alumni from varying graduation years, degree programs, industries and communities and provides guidance and oversight for the activities of the Alumni Association.

Lisa Brennan Lisa Brennan is a registered nurse with expertise in Healthcare Informatics at Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. Her current position is the Electronic Medical Record Implementation Manager for the Physician Practice Division of Elmhurst Memorial Healthcare. Through her line of work, Brennan, along with her informatics team, has received the Microsoft Health Users Group Innovation Award. She is a member of the Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society of Nursing, the American Nurse Informatics Association and the American Nurse Association- Illinois. Brennan holds an A.A.S. in Nursing from Triton and obtained her master’s in Nursing/ Informatics from the University of Phoenix. Throughout her career, she’s held certifications in Trauma Nurse Specialist and Certified Emergency Nurse.

Dr. Timothy H. Ricordati Dr. Timothy H. Ricordati is dean of the School of Professional Studies at Elmhurst College, where he functions as the chief administrative officer of the school, as well as associate professor of Business at the college. Ricordati has more than 30 years of experience in senior levels of education and business. Prior to joining Elmhurst College, Ricordati spent 17 years with DeVry University in a variety of senior leadership capacities. He also worked for six years as the Vice President of New Schools Development for the America Quality Schools Corporation (AQS). Ricordati currently serves on the community board, Proviso-Leyden Council for Community Action in Maywood and holds a B.S. and M.S.Ed. from Northern Illinois University as well as an Ed.D. from Nova Southeastern University in Curriculum and Instruction.

Bill Justiz Bill Justiz is the coordinator of the Emergency Medical Technology program at Triton College, where he also graduated with an A.S. in Fire Science. Justiz is a licensed emergency medical technician, both basic and paramedic, and has been a certified firefighter in Illinois since 2000. He’s won numerous awards for his valor and is thoroughly involved with educational issues in the community. In addition to his teaching position at Triton, he works as a firefighter/paramedic for the Chicago Fire Department and as a part-time firefighter/paramedic/fire investigator for the River Grove Fire Department. Justiz has a B.S. in Fire Service Management from Southern Illinois University and is currently completing his master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Illinois-Springfield.

Zee Bhimani Zee Bhimani provides a variety of quality products through his business, Zee’s Apparel, LLC, which offers custom screen printing, embroidery and promotional products. His business was inspired by his time at Triton College. Bhimani holds degrees in Culinary Arts and Restaurant Management from Triton, graduating in 2009 and 2010, respectively. Even though Bhimani is not cooking professionally at the moment, he is active within the industry.

Jesse Rosas Jesse Rosas serves Proviso Township as executive director of the Proviso Township Mental Health Commission in Hillside. The commission addresses healthcare needs by monitoring area trends and programs and providing financial assistance to local organizations serving an estimated 4,000 residents in the areas of mental health, substance abuse and developmental disabilities. Rosas holds an associate’s degree in Basic Addiction Counseling from Triton, a bachelor’s from Aurora University and a master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from American University.

Dr. Kennedi Strickland-Dixon Dr. Kennedi Strickland-Dixon is currently the Director of Special Education and Student Services for Bellwood School District 88 – a career she came to pursue after discovering her passion for helping special needs students, while attending Triton College. Through her work, she developed a program at Chicago State University, which enables students to seek a master’s degree in special education or to help certified teachers advance in their career. She is on the Board of Directors for the Mary E. Smith Foundation, which works to advance brain tumor research; is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; and has her doctorate in Educational Leadership.

Andrew Hock Andrew Hock began his career in law enforcement with the Elmwood Park Police Department in 1990, eventually moving up the ranks from patrolman to detective, to sergeant to commander, before being appointed the deputy chief of police in 2011. During his career, he’s been awarded the Cook County Sheriff’s Law Enforcement Award of Merit, the Elmwood Park Police Chief of Merit and the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists (A.A.I.M.) award. He graduated from Triton with an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration, in addition to graduating from the prestigious Northwestern University School of Police Staff and Command in 2007 and the Illinois State Police Training Academy. He currently serves on several boards and committees in his community.

Tony Quintana Tony Quintana has 10-plus years of experience as an investigator, including working for the Cook County Sheriff’s Department, and now thrives in the private sector with his own business, OnQ Protection and Investigation Services. The former Department of Homeland Security-ICE Investigator is a licensed private detective and security contractor by the State of Illinois and is affiliated with the National Council of Investigation and Security Services (NCISS), the Chicago Forensic Group (Chi4n6) and the High Technology Crime Investigation Association (HTCIA), among others. Quintana holds an associate’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Triton College.

Cristian Barrero Cristian Barrero’s first encounter with Triton College was at age 17 when he took English as a Second Language and credit hour courses after he and his family emigrated from Colombia, South America. He went on to earn his associate’s degree in computer design from Triton and a bachelor’s in Industrial Technology and Management at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago. The former Franklin Park resident is now pursing his master’s degree at IIT and working in the industry for IMS Engineered Products, with the goal of starting his own product design company.

Lorenzo Webber Lorenzo Webber currently serves his alma mater in Triton College’s Student Life Department, where he coordinates special student initiatives and oversees the Student Ambassador and Student Leadership Institute programs. Webber practices his passions for service and ministry as a youth advocate within Proviso Township, with the aim of minimizing senseless violence in the community. He’s also vice president of the Young Democrats of Illinois State Convention and volunteers his time as a deputy voting registrar in Cook County. He is a graduate of St. Joseph High School in Westchester and is pursuing his bachelor’s degree at National Louis University for applied behavioral science with a minor in public policy.

Pat Borowiak Pat Borowiak attended Triton College to learn graphic design at age 17. She would later go on to teach classes and work in the college’s Graphics Department, before taking a position to teach full-time. The now-retired college professor has taught at such educational institutions as Elmhurst College, Wright College and the College of DuPage, where she has been employed since 2001. Borowiak also has experience working in advertising.

Paul Feldmann Paul Feldmann serves as the Deputy Chief of the Northlake Fire Protection District, where he has worked since 1985. Feldmann is active in his community, currently serving as City of Northlake Zoning and Planning Board chairman and has been on the District 87 School Board for the past 15 years. He also coaches the Leyden Bear Football and Thunder Soccer teams. He holds an A.S. in Fire Science Technology from Triton College and a bachelor’s degree in Fire Service Management from Southern Illinois University.
